Not a big selection but it was well worth it. The owner was great. Loved the experience.

A lovely small, local winery! I came here because I purchased a Groupon. In my experiences using Groupons, sometimes employees seem annoyed with it or having to honor it, so I am always leery when trying someplace new with it. However, this was not the case at Keys Creek! Instead, they were kind, energetic, and friendly. In fact, the employee had three wine glasses lined up at the bar as we were walking up to show that she was ready. There were several tables with comfortable chairs outside. The employee would come over when we finished our tasting to pour the next one; we didn’t even have to get up. I thought that was a nice touch and attentive service. The wine itself was quite good. I am not a wine connoisseur, but I thought each of the wines had good flavor and taste. They were all red, and I usually prefer white; however, they were very good and drinkable. The employees were also knowledgable, and I enjoyed learning a bit more about wine in general. As of now with their Escondido location, they do not have food available, so if you go, I recommend packing some snacks or a picnic! And you get to keep the glass after tasting; they pack it up for you :) Overall, it was a lovely location, good wine, and great service. Highly recommended.

My fiancé and I visited this winery for the first time after finding a Groupon for it over a year ago. BESTDECISIONEVER! It is because of this winery that I started to like red wine. The quality of their product is outstanding! The owners Clay, Adam and Leanne are so kind and really make you enjoy your experience. An example of just how nice they are occurred this year at the yearly barrel tasting. They had a sign displayed saying, «Congratulations to Kyle and Shayna! First wine club member engagement!» This is just one of the several examples where they have gone above and beyond for their wine members. Hands down this is the best Winery I have ever been a part of. Do yourself a favor and visit Keys Creek Winery, you wont’ regret it!

We discovered this new little winery when we were tasting at Belle Marie Winery in Escondido. The local wineries all support one another and though the folks at Belle Marie did not know a whole lot about the Keys Creek Winery they thought we should give it a try. We have been members of Belle Marie for several years and it just get better. We ended our weekend at Keys Creek. What a treat! The wine maker(and Son of the owners) was covering for his folks for the day. We loved the wine, the company and the knowledge that Adam shared with us as to their incredible journey. It is a very quaint and quiet experience compared to the many local wineries that have become loud hangouts. We loved it! Stop on in. I believe they are only open Saturday and Sunday.

Great new little hidden gem in Escondido. You will feel like you are at home. You are almost at home as this seems to be the home of the owners. The owners(husband and wife) are very kind and even though we were the only ones there, they didn’t act rushed to get us in and out. Little patio area with a serving counter. They are dog friendly so bring your pup. They also encourage you to bring snacks or a picnic. Because of their new status, they served 3 wines. We enjoyed all three. We took at bottle to go of their zin. They said they will have a couple more wines to add to their list near the end of the year. I am sure this also depends on harvest and quality. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a new spot to have a glass of wine, tasting with a some snacks.

My wife, my Mother-in-Law and I visited this very nice little winery today, Easter Sunday, to use a Living Social coupon. We were the only ones there for about an hour and had a fantastic time tasting the Sangiovese, Zinfandel and a Late Harvest Zinfandel. All three were extremely tasty and while the owner, Clay, stated that they were«young», they had wonderful aromas, full bodies and were very drinkable. Clay was a great host and gave us a lot of background on his and other local wineries. His son, Adam, is the winemaker and together they are quite a team. We definitely look forward to going back with a picnic and enjoy the nice views and wines at Keys Creek.

Having gone to college in Napa Valley I tend to have a critical if not pessimistic view of wineries in southern California. I’ve visited a few in Temecula with disappointing results. Keys Creek Winery has changed my mind! It is just down the street from my house so my husband and I decided to check it out with a few friends. We were not disappointed. They have a beautiful picnic area and give generous«tastings.» I was pleasantly surprised by the wine too. They are a boutique winery and only put out Zin and Sangiovese right now but my husband and I liked both so much we bought a bottle of each. I would have bought the wine for the bottle alone, their«label» is a beautiful embossed key. I loved feeling like I was at my own private winery. The owner and his wife were so welcoming and we had a great time chatting with them. Highly recommend, I know I will be back frequently!

What a cute, small but intimate winery! Situated among residences in Escondido, when you drive up you immediately feel welcome as if you’re entering an old friend’s home. Tastings are done outside and there’s a few tables so bring a picnic! They have three wine offerings: 1) Sangiovese 2) Zinfandel 3) Muscat I liked both the Sangiovese and Zinfandel(both are very different in taste, sorry I can’t be more descriptive). The Muscat was too sweet for me. I appreciated how friendly the owners were. They are fairly new winery(just opened in September). Though I will say we bought two bottles of wine and didn’t even get one of our tasting fees waived =(so it was a pricey wine tasting. But I understand they’re just starting out. All in all a good local winery to support. Definitely a different vibe than the larger wineries you see up in Napa.

I visited the winery for the first time. It’s a small winery, just started from Aug 2014… very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It’s a Dog Friendly venue which is a big Plus for me. Yes, I will be back.
