K&M Bee Management

I’m going to keep this short because the only thing I can say is these guys are great. They came out fast and solved the problem at a great rate. Very friendly and pretty spot on to get the job done. I highly recommend using K&M for your bee management issues.

We found K&M through Craigslist and they were coming in at the cheapest rate of $ 175 (others were quoting $ 200 and $ 300). We called on Monday morning and Dave returned my call right away and said he could take care of the bees in a few hours. He came out, applied a poison in the wall, patched up a crack in the mortar of the brick wall (apparently the hive was in there) and told us that the bees were very aggressive (possibly Africanized) and that it would take some time before they all leave the hive.
Fast forward to Friday and our gardener said that his crew was stung. BUMMER! We called Dave to come out again and check it over (he said that his warranty was good for 6 months) and on Sunday morning, he said he could remove the honeycomb and clear it all out for $ 125 more. He had a second guy with him and they were both able to take care of the job in about 30 minutes. We saw them pull out the honeycomb and through it in a bag, so we know it was totally removed. After a few hours, there were only one or two bees hanging around still, which is far less than there were after the initial clean-​up.
All in all, it cost us about $ 300, but we are fine with the charges since we know it was done well and Dave was very responsive and reliable. Should we ever have a problem with bees again, we will definitely call him back!
