Great West Christmas Trees

The ONLY reason I even got out of my car here was because I’d already purchased a deal for a Christmas Tree online. STAY AWAY! This location is in a lot outside of a run down hotel. There were about 8 trees inside the fenced area, with a cardboard sign on the gate saying «Christmas Tree Sales Rm 125». Creepy from the get-​go. Salesman priced us $ 40 for 5 – 6′, $ 50 for 6 – 7′, and $ 60 for 7 – 8′ trees. (The deal we purchased was $ 35 for a $ 70 value) We selected a 7 – 8′ tree. During the process of loading it onto our car, we told him we purchased the online deal, then he became annoyed and said «Well I wish you’d been up front and told me that in the beginning.» Now instead of $ 60, he said the price was $ 80. Whatever, so we said we’d pay another $ 10. Nope!!! Then he said since we’d only paid $ 35 for the online deal, we would need to give him another $ 35 cash. WTF. This was followed up by him saying «I can charge whatever I want for my trees.» and a phone call to a very uninterested and jerky boss at the Temecula location.
All I can say is, if you’re going to buy a tree save your money and don’t give it to the crackheads at this location.
We ditched the tree, called and got a refund thru Amazon Local, and had a MARVELOUS experience at Wilson Tree Farms in Carlsbad, CA.
