Thank you Escondido Canal for carrying water! There is also a nice walking path by most of the canal, which is pleasant!

Unique, beautiful, a true Escondido landmark.
While the trash that flows down this Canal only passes through for a few days or so, I’m sure it would have stay longer if it could. The great Los Angeles Canals have nothing on this small, yet full of character and charm concrete river.
The canal starts north by the Eureka Springs Housing community. Then it makes a path along E Valley Parkway before disappearing under Grape Day Park.
