Worst chuck e. Cheese ever!!! Several games don’t work. The rides are dirty! Half the ticket counting machines were out of order and the one that did work didn’t count the tickets right. When I notified an employee he gave me a voucher for 200 tickets when I had already put close to 400 tickets in the machine. We’ll never come back here again. The bathrooms were also dirty.

My son loves this place but what kid doesn’t. It is pretty clean and the pizza is ok. The toys you can get for tickets are complete junk!

This location is severely understaffed with little organization. Compared to other chuck e cheese birthdays we have been to, this one was unfortunately very unsatisfactory. Management does try hard to try to please guests or make up for shortcomings and I do feel for all employees as they all do their best. I would not recommend any birthday parties here until changes are made at this facility. If we decide to do so again, we will be getting there early to snatch a bunch of tables for our guests and ordering food and tokens on our own… we paid a pretty penny even for the lowest package and I was very disappointed in the birthday party compared to other CEC parties we have attended. The Mira Mesa CEC is amazing for parties, but the trade off is parking a mile away because that shopping center is insane. I think I had higher expectations for a first birthday party here and truthfully did not realize how short staffed they are most days. We go earlier in the day and it is not jam packed which is always nice. I will give management props for sincerely caring when I complained, wanting to make it right and making sure I left happy. I did not hold back on what I thought, but I could clearly see they need more help. I hope they are able to hire on some more staff soon and organization improves here. I would really like to see this location become more successful. It is close to our home and I have always had good experiences with staff themselves. All staff are kind and try to smile through the hard parts of the day and they sure do hustle. I appreciate the labor the staff put into their jobs there.

Had a great bday party. Guess the kids are never too old. They still loves getting tickets to turn in for 10cent items.

this place is horrible the kids games don’t work theirs no out of service signs complete chaos no food, tables are dirty never been to a place so poorly managed and the employees very rude this place is the worst I will happily drive to vistas and I live in Escondido!!!

Came in today around 12:30 pm they onky had one cashier working waited more then 15 minutes in line just to purchase a wrap and tokens. Got my wrap 20 minutes later and it’s was COLD went to the kiosk to get more token and both machine were out of service had to go in line a wait 10 more minutes just for tokens they have the worst service ever this place gets worst every time I come definitely going to look somewhere else to go.

This review is on the manager who I regretfully forgot to get her name but she is there in the evenings and has short black hair. Ok well my 2 great old daughter is a fan of chuckee and he is the reason she wants to go. We took her and waited 2 hours for him to come out after they told us he comes out every half hour at the 30. We asked again if he was coming out and an employee repeated what she said before so we decided to just go and as you can imagine my daughter was sad while all of this was going on the manager was nearby and heard it all… she asked a different employee to please put on the chuckee suit and come out specifically for my daughter. That made my daughter extremely happy and me grateful. I would go back just because of the manager and what she did.

My Five Stars are not for the Chuck E Cheese in Escondido but for the employee Miguel who works there. Miguel worked his tail off yesterday 1÷24÷16 even during a rush. Thank you Miguel for making mine and my families experience such a wonderful experience. It is people like you in this world that really keep my faith going. Thank you for your kind heart and for being such a hard worker. =] Keep up the great work.

The most disgusting CEC I’ve ever been to.
When we got here on a Sunday at 4:15, there are two clean tables. Most of the tables were empty, but none of the workers cleaned off tables so you could sit at a clean table.
All you can eat salad bar? Empty… for 45 minutes. When it was filled, it was filled by the cashier. Same cashier had her hair out of a bun. Mind you, pretty hair, but I don’t want it in my salad. Also, I prefer people to use gloves when handling money and then going to food.
Ticket redemption… please wait. Again, 30 minutes or so of people just standing there waiting.
Overall cleanliness is below standards. Now I get its a CEC, but come on.
Do yourself a favor and drive a few more miles to avoid this place.

Had my daughter’s birthday party here and all the staff were amazing. They treated my daughter’s very special and I wish I could thank them each by name.

Food is overpriced and taste like it was microwaved. This Chuck E Cheese is pretty small. Most of the games are boring or they’re broken. My 6 year old gets bored here so fast, which I guess it’s a good thing for me lol. Getting the good prizes is so hard to achieve, most kids will end up spending lots of money and end up winning the cheap plastic made in China toys. The only thing they have going here is their staff is very friendly.

Went today we had a blast! Not too busy which was nice. Very clean place and staff was so friendly and helpful. We had a great experience and will be coming back soon!

I take my kids here often, they love it! We normally come here on Sundays which can be a very busy day for CEC. Good selection of games, decent amount of seating. Be prepared to wait when ordering food, waited about 35 minutes for a large pepperoni pizza.

I think its a great place for young kids. There are more games and things they can do here compared to boomers, Belmont park or any other arcade. It’s also a token each so you dont have to spend much on games and they can pick a toy for prizes which they love! (even though those toys are super cheap) it’s also small enough that you dont have to be super worried about them getting lost. There are however not a lot of variety of food which isn’t so bad because their options are what kids would eat and its good for a quickly meal. I also like that the characters are active with the kids

We have not been to Chuck E. Cheese for a while. For some reason, my sister-​in-​law decided to throw a party for my almost teen-​age son here – on a Friday night! I was bracing myself for the crowd and the noise and frazzled employees. None of them materialized. It was not that crowded, the place was clean and well-​lit, the music was not blaring and our hostess, Ely, was fantastic. She kept the energy up and was very entertaining. The crew, overall, was very accommodating and solicitous. My son was even given extra tickets (those high-​numbered tickets – 1000, 200). It is a far cry from the way I remembered this branch when my son was young. We did not feel hurried at all; unlike when we had one of his birthdays here when he was way younger. That time, we felt we were being driven away right after our 2-​hour party. This time, the atmosphere was relaxed and everything was taken cared of by the hostess.

Crap food and flat beer.

Chill place to come on weekdays usually it’s almost empty. Unlimited salad for about $ 5 is best deal. Do NOT get the boneless wings they taste exactly the same if not worse than Tyson brand microwaveable boneless wings. And I paid 8.99 for them. So other than that good place.

Chuck E Cheese recently revamped their pizza recipe and it’s much better than before. Even the salad bar was clean and fresh.
What I really like about this particular location is that I’ve noticed the staff actively cleaning the arcade games and the large indoor play set.
Hopefully we’ll get more kid party invites for this place.

This place is GREAT… It is clean and the staff is patient and friendly.
