Holy cow … Um … Chicken. The teriyaki chicken sub is like an Asian French Dip. Minus one point for the«bacon» on the fries being bacon bits and not the fresh stuff. But not bad for mall grub.

This was a pleasant surprise. My girlfriend and I shared a philly cheese steak and lemonade while shopping. The sandwich was large even for sharing and came out very hot and delicious. We’ll be back.

Stopped by the food court for a quick bite. My boyfriend and I shared food. We got Charley’s and Sarku Japan. At Charley’s, we got the Philly cheesesteak, fries, and blueberry lemonade. The cheesesteak was so good! Lots of flavor, good amount of melted cheese, and all around a good sandwich. I have to say it is better than a cheesesteak I have had in Philadelphia! As for the fries, I was not a fan. A little too soft and soggy for my taste. I love the blueberry lemonade! There were real muddled blueberries in it. Yum!

Man, I’m still sitting in the food court, but I’m so upset at this«meal» that I feel compelled to tell someone about it. This place is just nonsense. The«food» is atrocious. What kind of place sells French fries with different toppings and doesn’t have sour cream? I should’ve walked away when I heard that. Instead, I made the mistake of trying three things, all of which sucked more than the last thing. The fries, which were sitting in a big Rubbermaid container and then slathered with a «cheddar sauce» that with its distinct bile flavor induced my gag reflex, sucked. The real insult was the«bacon» these gross fries were served with, which was clearly straight out of a bag of bacon bits. The cheesesteak sucked. Let’s just leave it at that. The blueberry lemonade, which sounded like a novel idea, was like lemonade with half a jar of blueberry jam plopped into it. Absolutely too sweet(and thick! gross!) to even drink. I mistakenly gave my angelic toddler son a sip, and he immediately turned into the devil. The only positive thing I’m taking away from this experience is now I have one less thing to consider eating if I ever come to this food court again. *Stop judging my order. I’m already ashamed enough.

I love Philly cheesesteaks and Fries. Service is great even with new faces all the time. Quick and fast for a quick bite at the mall.

Tucked in the deep end of the food court, I was excited to get my cheesesteak sandwich grub on. Unfortunately, it was not satisfactory. Bread was a little dry and not enough meat: bread ratio. Meat was not well seasoned and Philadelphia would be ashamed to even share the same name of a sandwich that represents their city. Many other decent places in that food court. Even a Subway to cure your sandwich needs with more variety.

I went to the mall to shop and decided to check out the Cheese stakes… Photos looked good but I would not go back there after my roll want toasted at all as I saw others… The meat was not flavored much and it just didn’t satisfy. Wont go back. I recommend Philly Franks in San Marcos!

I first found this chain at a mall in LA. An employee handing out samples turned me into a big fan of this chain. The sandwiches here are really tasty and definitely keep me coming back. I’ve always had a little trouble finding places I like in the food court here, but this is it! AMBIANCE: Food court… pretty standard. This place does a pretty nice job of maintaining a clean appearance and the samples passed out in the front are a really nice touch. SERVICE: The staff here is friendly and outgoing. No complaints at all. It’s a take-away counter, so there’s not much to review. FOOD: I just straight up love these sandwiches. It’s hard for me to branch out and try new ones, but every time I do, I’m glad I did. The California Chicken and Regular Philly Cheese-steak have been my Favorites so far. As another reviewer mentioned, the fries really aren’t anything special, and the prices are just a touch on the high side(but within reason for a food court). Make sure to grab some seasoned salt from the counter for your fries :) Overall: I’ll just say this is the only restaurant in the mall food court that I have ever driven TO the mall for. Coincidentally, Westfield just built a parking lot for this purpose… haha

This place is relatively new to the food court compared to the other options. I decided to venture out of my norm and give them a shot… glad I did! Food was awesome. got the philly steak with bleu cheese and BBQ sauce. REALLY good and fresh tasting. The fries weren’t too bad either. Service was very friendly, and when I spilled my drink accidentally, they were quick to clean it up and replace it without any fuss. Very nice. Overall, for food court-style food, it’s not too bad at all!

The Chicken California sub is delicious, but pass on the fries. They’re nothing special. Particularly for the price, if you have any cheese, etc., added. I would liken them to bad movie theater nachos. Otherwise, the sandwiches are pretty darned good, the staff is usually pretty friendly, and the price for what you get, is comparable to similar fare at other restaurant kiosks in the Food Court.

Charley’s grilled subs is a welcomes sight to the North County Mall. I used to frequent The Great Steak Escape when they had a spot in the food court years ago and was saddened when they closed down. Charley’s is a pretty big chain as I’ve seen them at several other malls. Their cheesesteaks are pretty decent although a little on the pricey side. Not as good as a place like Philly Franks but its good for being at the mall. I don’t claim to be a Philly experts although I’ve tried the big four in Philly(Geno’s, Pat’s, Jim’s, and Tony Luke’s). This doesn’t compare to those but if you’re looking for a good meal at the mall, I’d recommend this spot. Fills you up.
