Every time I am in the San Diego area, I can count on Dr. Chen and her staff to take care of me and my teeth. I have been a patient of Dr. Chen’s for over 10 years and I absolutely love her. She is gentle, her chair side manner is impeccable, and her #1 concern is your comfort. She has never diagnosed anything that I didn’t really need. And after seeing a dentist on base in Okinawa, Japan, Dr. Chen actually found something that he missed. She has excellent hygienists on staff who specialize in cleaning your teeth. Like I said before, I saw a hygienist in Okinawa, Japan, and I could just tell that that hygienist had left something behind. Dr. Chen’s hygienist did a very thorough job and my teeth really felt clean after my appointment. They are a part of my support system. I am so grateful to Dr. Chen and her staff for always being there for me.

Dr Chen is the kindest soft spoken and most excellent dentist I’ve ever seen for my dental care. Very accommodating very accomplished with the most pleasant bed side manner. Her dental assistants are the best and then there is Betty the nicest receptionist dental assistant. Exceptional!

Best dental office, very friendly staff and gentle doctors!
I had to have a root canal and a crown done. Dr. Karpman (root canal doctor) and Dr. Chen were very caring and their time on explaining the procedures, making sure I was comfortable throughout the appointments. Both doctors were very knowledge and good at listening to my concerns which I really appreciated it as I was nervous about getting a root canal and crown done.
I don’t have dental insurance, so price was an issue to me. The rates are VERY reasonable, consider: 1) for the service the office provides, 2) the quality the office provides. This is VALUE. You are not going to pay less, and certainly if you did, get more here at A Plus dental.
Even though I now live far, but it’s worth a long drive to come here to get my dental work done. I definitely recommend A Plus Dental to all my friends and family.
