Delicious sandwiches and limited, good quality beer selection. This place is one fryolator short of being a legitimate restaurant. Super nice people. Also, this is hands-​down the best thing we saw for miles around on that road.

This is a diamond in the rough. Great owners, great food and a great beer selection. Mike and Simone could not have been nicer. We stopped in for a quick drink after skiing at Northfield mountain and ended up staying for 2 hours — most of it a great conversation with the owners. Highly recommended.

Great service, great beers, can’t wait to come back! Dropped in for some pints on our way back to MA from Mount Snow and had an awesome time chatting with the owners and enjoying delicious local brews. Looking forward to coming back again and getting a delicious sandwich. Definitely worth the stop!

We, as most reviewers, were on our way back to Boston from placed north/​west of the city when we stumbled upon this gem.
The owners Mike and Simone were there and were very pleasant. The sandwiches we picked up for the drive home were delicious and well made, and very large portions for the price. We had some free popcorn while we waited and I added on some mac n cheese as well (though it wasn’t made in house, it was still quite good).
I read a tip left on Foursquare by a local patron and Mike and Simone laughed at the description of the place and even knew who the tipper was. Seems like a great local hometown pub with great people. Would highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Perfect stop on Rte 2 on the way to Vermont. Wonderful draft beer (BBC or Berkshire Beer Company), yummy sandwiches, and super friendly owner in a little café that is as clean as a whistle. As we walked in, a couple walking out said it was a great place. And so it was.

Drive from Ma to Vt almost every weekend and pass thru the small town of Erving Ma and the Crooked Tap Café. Curious I asked my gilrfirend to google it. Long story short we stopped in this past Sunday on the way home. Assuming the gentleman we spoke with was the owner, very nice and down to earth. Deli sandwichs is pretty much all the menu consists of, and they were great. We got 2 to go. Will definetly stop again and hopefully grab a beer or 2 and chat some more.

The slaw! The slaw! Slivers of crunchy cabbage mingle with carrot chunks, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, and craisins in a mayonnaise-​free mix! Did I mention the fresh, made-​to-​order sandwiches and local microbrews on tap? Solid.

Driving from Bennington, VT to Cambridge, we stopped at the Crooked Tap for lunch. THe atmosphere was great, both staff and customers friendly, and food was good. I had Buffalo Chicken soup, wife had the Salsalito sandwich, and kids had fluffernutters.
When we got there, bot the Bruins and Red Sox games were on, but the sound was up for the Bruins. The other customers were watching the Bruins game and cheering loudly. When they got up and left, the owner, remembering our conversation about the Red Sox, and without prompting, turned the sound over to that game, even though he was wearing a Bruins jersey.
All in all, a great experience!

Great little road side diner! Significant beer selection, super friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Only serves soup and sandwiches but that’s ok! Will definitely be bringing friends here.

This is a true hidden gem. Owners who operate the little café are lovely. Sandwiches and soups make up the menu, both are great. Soup changes daily, but sandwiches are a wide array of boar’s head meats, on a great selection of breads. Great beer selection, which changes seasonally, although there are a few staples.
Overall, great food, great atmosphere at a great price. Highly recommend.

Nice little lunch spot with friendly service, clean and tasteful interior and excellent prices. The lunch menu includes tasty and well prepared sandwiches (Boarshead, etc.). Beer on tap and wine available.
