Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had and I used to live in the south.

Been here multiple times and always left pleased. The owners, Karen and Adrienne, are so friendly and I’ve gotten to know them. I’ve tried half the menu, but my personal favorite is the Rubbed and Roasted Chicken. To die for! I will be making many more return visits. A staple of Erie. My mouth is watering is just thinking about it.

What a cool restaurant. White linen tablecloths… but totally casual. Unassuming corner restaurant in a mostly residential area… but upscale menu offerings. We tried the spinach artichoke and asiago cheese dip — yummy. The Poul Sautee(chicken breast with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, baby spinach, and Havarti) was delicious, as was my husband’s sea scallop bacon mac & cheese… I stole several forkfuls of that! Our server was friendly and attentive. The bottle of wine we wanted wasn’t available, so we were given a higher-priced substitute(which was really good) but were not charged the higher price. Speaking of prices… a little bit more than we typically like to spend, but it was totally worth it. We would dine here again when we’re in the area.

Great classy atmosphere. The food was great, we both tried a daily special and were weren’t disappointed. Still can’t try the chicken and waffles when there are so many other good choices. Food was fresh and tasty

First time and had a great experience. We didn’t have a reservation but they graciously accommodated us. I had a side salad and shrimp and grits. Hubby had the side salad & creole spiced shrimp with rice and beans. Both dishes were very good. Service was fabulous and we will definitely be back.

Amazing! Shrimp creole, catfish, rubbed & roasted chicken & wings. The red beans & rice dude was great. The veg was kale & cabbage medley — excellent. Flavourful sides. The sesame ginger salad dressing is great. Catfish wasn’t the best ever but very tasty. BUT — the desserts — fabulous! Sunday all day cake: banana cake with pineapple filling, strawberry icing & chocolate sauce with whipped cream, nuts & maraschino cherry. Peanut butter chocolate mousse pie — delicious. Lime cake was great but couldn’t compare to either of the other two. The apple pie is very nice — quality apple pie. All desserts are made in house so some rotate in and out. It’s definitely a return!

This is one of the top three restaurants in Erie. By far, some of the freshest food and inviting menu that you will find! Everything is always fantastic and the service is great

Food is lovely! Bar service on a slow night was bad — bartender told us about happy hour specials that were over, gave us a rude nickname on our receipts, didn’t know product/prices(up charged an item because he was unsure) and didn’t know how to make the simple drink I requested.

I ordered the shrimp and grits with a side of the vegetable of the day. The food was exquisite. The service was great. My waiter, Seth, was polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and ultimately helped me decide what to order. Thanks for the great food and service, Joe

My husband and I came here the first week when we came to Erie. It’s a little pricier than what we were expecting(~$ 13 – 15 a plate) — but that’s mostly because we were expecting a more casual vibe(I think we walked in with sweats and flip flops). He got the chicken and waffles, while I got the fish fry. Definitely good southern food, especially if you add the hot sauce to it. I give it a 3 stars simply because we haven’t had the urge to go back. However, it’s definitely a place you have to try once in Erie! It has a good vibe and the servers are polite and kind. AND complimentary corn bread. My god. Cornbread.

Very bad service. Just overall bad experience. The waiter really ruined it for us. First it took him 15 min to bring a glass of tap beer. Actually I ended up going to the bar and getting it myself after he already brought out the appetizers but not the beer. Then he brought an adult order for one of the kids instead if the kids one but after we longer out to him he counted it as a kids dish. Then he messed up the checks(we had 2 families with kids) which again was corrected after we explained to him what was wrong. He waited with the second beer another 10 min and then asked if I still wanted if stead of just bringing it. The worst part is that there were prices on all beers except for the craft tap. The other two tap beers were priced at $ 3 and $ 4. I asked how much the third one(craft tap, it was like beer of the day) was and he told me it was along same $ 3-$ 4 prices as the other two. Then when I got the bill the craft beer was $ 6.25 and it was the most expensive beer on the menu. Waiter said that the owner/manager refused to take it off and even though he incorrectly informed me about the price I have to pay for it. Overall the experience was awful. And another interesting fact: the waiter said that if we wanted to share a plate because we really weren’t that hungry he’d charge us extra $ 10 for it. So we ordered appetizers instead which was only $ 8. We will not go back there.

We’re on our way from the east coast to the west, stopping for the night in Erie. Looked on Unilocal for a place for supper and found Pineapple Eddie’s. Fantastic! Friendly owners & staff, delicious food… We shared a Fried chicken dinner(3 pieces of chicken, cornbread, Cole slaw & mashed potatoes with an extra side order of fried plantains). YUM! We travel from one coast to the other once or twice a year and from now on I’ll be trying to plan our trip around a stop in Erie so we can come back. Now to stop writing and try the lime cake and the apple pie that we brought back to the motel! I am sure we will not be disappointed.

This place was a great find even for people who are spoiled by the vibrant food scene in Cleveland like us. The atmosphere is cozy, the décor is simple, and our server was a lot of fun and sweet. We started with wings and fish fry, and boy were they delicious! The fish was crispy but still moist inside. The wings have some great flavors, too. For entrees, we tried griyo and a pasta special with seafood, all perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were very happy with our food and the whole experience. We will definitely come back if we were in the area again.

Great food. Great service. Try the shrimp n’ grits. If they get rid of the tv it will be perfect. Best meal I’ve ever had in Erie.

My new favorite local restaurant! Came here tonight to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The atmosphere beautiful. The food fabulous! The service beyond great. The chef talked to us on the way out and was so grateful and appreciative that we enjoyed his meals. How could we not? It was great. Everything about this place is awesome! We will be back! I’m just sorry it took me this long to go here.

Absolutely amazing place. We were staying near the mall area & this is a 5min drive worth it. So glad we didn’t eat at a chain restaurant. We were here for Sunday brunch. Catfish tacos, Shrimp & Grits(#1 great), Pineapple Eddie Burgers all were so great! Desserts all homemade Southern style was great. Sweet Potato pie was correct, Red Velvet cake, Peanut Butter pie, Carrot Cake, so good. Sorry no pictures because we ate it so fast. Wow!

Very very good food! Everyone I was with lived it. From the fried green tomatoes to the shrimp and grits and service was wonderful! Everyone was very kind and helpful and happy to take any request you would have. I will definitely visit this location again on a trip to Erie from Buffalo.

We were on the way to Niagara Falls from Pittsburgh, so we figured this would be a good pit stop for lunch. I actually Unilocaled the restaurant and figured this would be worth a try. Definitely was! Parking: There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant that fits probably 8 cars and has a dumpster too. We couldn’t find any parking in there, so we parked on the streets. Plenty of street parking at 12pm on a Friday afternoon. Service: It was our first time there, so it took some time for us to pick our meal. So it was nice that our waitress was understanding and let us take our time choosing what we wanted. When we did finish our orders, it was pretty amazing that she didn’t have to write down our orders! She just had really good memory! I’ll admit though, the food did take quite some time to come out, but boy was it worth it. Food: I ordered the catfish po’boy, while my friends ordered the Asian chicken salad and tuna salad sandwich respectively. My other friend ended up getting the cheeseburger sliders after a while of thinking of which item to get. Even though the portions looked really small, it was the perfect amount of food since we couldn’t take any of it to go anyways. Since we shared each of our meals, I was able to get a nice palate of their menu. I really loved the flavors of all them surprisingly! The catfish was so fresh, and their Asian chicken salad actually tasted pretty authentic. There as just enough salad dressing that it wasn’t overwhelming and making the salad soggy. I loved their cheeseburger sliders. The beef patties were heavenly. Overall: I would come back here to try more of their dishes and maybe dessert! Since I was full from lunch, I couldn’t squeeze dessert in and their carrot cake looked tasty through the glass. Until next time!
