She is patient and listens so she can diagnose properly and recommend proper treatment.

With her Harvard medical degree and genuine caring, she crosses over traditional medicine with holistic healing.
She accepts traditional health insurance.

You know how you go through life trying different docs? The chain places, the hospital docs, the grocery store docs… And so on. Like most I have had both good and bad experiences with docs all my life. Then we walked into home of the healing arts!
Simply put, her practice (it is her and dr Alison… Also amazing) is exactly what you did and didn’t realize you should demand from a medical facility. Here is what you will get every time…
–lots of time with the doc… Who listens. If your story is 30 minutes she gives you 30 minutes of honest and critical listening
–stunning array of specialties. She lives and breathes medicine… And knows her stuff so well it will make you wonder if she ever sleeps
–imagine getting a physical, and getting a customized report written by her along with her calling you to discuss… Yeah that happens.
–balance of medicine strategies… Traditional medicine mixed with eastern medicine… These docs would never over prescribe or just throw pills to fix stuff.
–she knows medicines really really well… What antibiotics are for what… When to take when not to take.
So overall… We can say we found that gold gem of a doctor… 40 years and we finally found exactly what makes an overall perfect balance of medicine expertise and compassion and flexibility in treatment.
Add to that the facility has gentle music and water fountains throughout, we feel so lucky to live so close so this place can be our place to stay healthy.
The only thing you need to know is that you could will be there a while… She does not ‘time limit’ patients so if it takes a long time so be it. That is a good thing!

The absolute best care we could have hoped for. Very professional, knowledgeable, great staff and a great bedside manner. A great country doctor with a Harvard degree in medicine.

Dr. Oberbeck has been treating me for several years now, and I am extremely pleased with her. The office staff is extremely responsive and courteous. If you are looking to get away from a «medical corporation» and you want to be able to see one doctor every time, this is the place for you!
