Evan’s Skateland West

My son’s school PTA sponsors «skating parties» here all the time so we get to go here for 3 bucks a kid. Yes, part of the floor n the back is worn down, and the walls are covered in carpet (not really a minus… it’s just that anyplace with carpet covered walls reminds me of «Wall to Wall Sound & Video» stores of the 80’s and 90’s.)
It’s a safe place to roller skate for the kids. Staff is nice, food is reasonably priced. And you know the elementary school kids are having a great time because, 1) they’re attempting to dance to Gangham Style on roller skates, and 2) after an hour, said kids are a sweaty, hot mess. Early bedtime! Score!
The parking lot is horrendous though. Like it was covered in land mines or hit by hundreds of meteors.
