Cell Fixer

Ugh, NEVER go here!!! I’m from out of town and I was home visiting my family, who lives about 35 minutes outside of Erie… My iPhone (6plus) just started freezing out of the blue when I was home. I called three different places and they all said the same thing, «Sound like you need a new screen.» Ok, cool… I chose Cell Fixer because they said if it was an issue greater than just changing the screen that I could bring it back and they would put my old screen back on and refund my money. The new screen worked great for about 24 hours and then started acting up like the old one, not as bad but I figured it was only a matter of time.
I decided to take the screen back and get my old one back… If I’m going to have a partially working phone I might as well save myself the $ 200… When I called cell fixer the next day I was told they don’t keep the screens and that it had got picked up for recycling… Wait… What? You just told me that if it didn’t work you would put my old screen back on. At this point I started to get the feeling this place was too good to be true and was shady. Turns out that the manager did keep my screen and I could get it back. So I make the trip back up to the store the next day and there is a young guy working. I explain what happened and he said he would change the screens out. I go back 20 minutes later and my phone doesn’t work at all… He said he tried everything and he couldn’t do anything… I basically got a «sorry.» So I go to this place with a partially functioning phone and leave with a phone that won’t even turn on. Awesome. His best suggestion was for me to come back the next morning when the manager would be there. I explained to him that I am from out of town, it takes me 35 minutes to get here, and I’m flying out of Pittsburgh the next day… Again, «sorry.»
Since I had no phone, I made the effort to get to the store again the next morning… No manager… This time a young blonde girl working… Told her what happened… Took her like 5 minutes to even comprehend what I was saying… She said she couldn’t do anything for it and that it might be another issue but she didn’t have any of the parts in the store to check. Again, I got another «sorry.» I was leaving that day and wouldn’t be able to come back… I went to this store with a phone I could use and left with a phone that I couldn’t even get powered back on to back everything up. While I was there the third time I heard someone else complaining about a similar issue but they had already shipped that person’s screen away… They couldn’t even get their old screen and refund back.
Furious, I asked the blonde to have the manager call and left my name and a number to call me… Never heard a word from him. Shady business here… Ended up going to a local AT&T store to get a new phone, they told me that my screen was missing a part (but that wasn’t causing the issue) and that my phone was physically bent. This I know was done at Cell Fixer because I had initially taken my phone to a place in Meadville who laid my phone flat to check that… DO NOT COME HERE!!!

Very honest didn’t charge me after they put a part in because the issue was software related.

Very impressed with their turn around time! I cracked my Macbook screen and they had it repaired the next day. Great service, good price! Highly recommended!

I cracked my iPhone 5 and brought it here to be fixed. They fixed it in less than an hour! and I got to shop around the mall while I was waiting. The people were friendly and seemed really knowledgeable about cell phones. The best part is I purchased an otter box case here and haven’t broken my phone since!

they fixed the lock button and was only a fraction of what I thought the cost would be… Also I bought a light up phone changer for my son. He thought it was awesome.
