Always a great place to hangout. The seating areas are sparse on a crowded weekend. Starbucks seems just too small to get your studying on. However on a good weekday you should be just fine.

This building started its life as a Acura dealership. At the time in the Erie was not ready for such expensive cars and thus failed and someone had the good vision for a Barnes and Noble. Very Smart. The location is at the main artery in Millcreek so getting to it is easy in the non-winter. But in the winter its a serious PIA(pain in the ass) because its on a hill and people do not pay attention while traveling downhill in the winter. The staff, they LOVE books, they have told me were older book stores are in Erie if I was looking for something that was out print. That kind of information really makes to me if I’m going to visit again. Instead of I don’t know, you get here is a place that might have it. I like they have the children area downstairs as they can sometimes get very excited about the books or the event. I know I do not want my kids bumping into someone or impacting a study group. I don’t know about the wireless in this place but it might be free and I do love the idea of free. I go there about 3 times a month to feed my brain or my ears for the newest music. Thinking about the music area its pretty standard and I have not talked to them so I may update in the future if I find something or someone interesting. Since all the boarders have closed they are not the defacto corp bookstore at the level boarders.
