A little small, but loved it. Sat at a little booth with my friend and had a great breakfast. Good service too.

A few of the previous reviews almost changed my mind. I decided to try it anyway since I travel so much I hate always going to the«chains». It has a great little barstool area to eat and about 4 tables and 10 booths –seats about 50 people. The seafood soup was a great catch! Since I had seafood all week I just had the hamburger steak dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. Was just like a meal from grandma’s. Do not hesitate to stop and grab a quick lunch on your way through.

Avoid at all costs. Otherwise they’ll just tell you where to go instead for you. I came to meet my friend and her family who lives in epping for breakfast. Me and my boyfriend got there before the rest of our group. In total we would have been a party of 6. Apparently this was an issue and they wanted to be anything but helpful. Customers that were waiting for food were trying to be more helpful than the actual wait staff — they said they couldn’t seat a party of six anywhere and they didn’t want us waiting for a bigger table. The only way they’d be able to seat us is if we separated instead of just waiting for bigger tables to open up. A customer who was at a longer table offered to move her and her family to a different table so we could sit there. They kept saying that wouldn’t work and we couldn’t pull a chair up. Even though there were several people by themselves sitting across from unused chairs. Eventually we said we’ll just go somewhere else and instead of apologizing they just said you can go three miles in either directions! So if you’re thinking about going to pams FAMILY diner make sure your family is made up of less than five. Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I will never return. We ended up going up the road to Sunny’s in Lee. Spectacular service and food.

Went to breakfast here with my family and truly wish we didn’t. I should of known by the smell of the place and the dirty silverware but decided to give Pam’s the benefit of doubt. The biscuits and gravy were disgusting(thick white gravy) and my blueberry pancake came with a hair on the plate. I asked the waitress to remove the pancake from the bill, I had lost my appetite at that point, and she claimed it was«blueberry juice.» Needless to say, I paid for a pancake with hair. We will never go back there again.

The food is good, the service is good, but it takes a long time to get your breakfast. We stopped going here just because it takes so long for eggs and toast.

Exactly what we needed for lunch — fast, simple, cheap. My boy loved his cheeseburger, which was cooked exactly as we asked. My BLT was equally simple and clean. Service was prompt and prep time was about as quick as it should be.

Awesome biscuit and gravy… only down fall is how long you have to wait for your food… maybe this was a problem when I visited but a table of 6 sat after us and was served before us… I was scratching my head on how that worked out. over nice place and I’ll be back

This is good dinner with large portions, quality food and great pricing. The staff was friendly and all ways willing to get you what I needed. My only negative feedback is the service was a about 15 to 20 minutes to bring me food after the order. This was not that bad since the service staff was friendly and attentive. The second was my bill was wrong it was only an amazing 6.95 plus .50 for the increase in egg cost which totaled $ 7.45 however my bill had 1.95 in tax charges and when I started to check for the correct total I was told that I was forgetting about the tax which I tried to point out the tax could not be 1.95 on 7.45 tab. However she walked away so I paid my bill and left.

Not many options for breakfast in the area. but pam’s has what u need for the breakfast fill. Service is always on par but dont expect anything special bright eyed n bushy tailed first thing in the am. They keep the coffee full and the prices are right.

Pam’s reminds me of a diner. Their omelettes are the best. I’ve been coming here for years and I love their breakfasts. Definitely a local place, the pricing is low, the service is personal and the place has an eccentricity unlike the random fake flash at chain restaurants. The Friday night fish specials are fantastic!

I agree totally with the breakfast mistakes I’ve read in the other reviews. My husband likes it well enough, but it’s not my cup of tea. The eggs just aren’t right, the toast is from a bag of sliced bread, and the choices are ancient. I miss the breakfast wraps at Doug’s Hoagies in Dover. BUT… On Friday nights, Pam’s Family Restaurant offers THEBEST Fish and Chips I’ve had in a long, long time. Lightly battered fresh fish, fried in clean, new oil every Friday, the Haddock is amazing — far surpassing the Holy Grail and their ancient fryer oil. The Onion Rings are tender and light and crispy. It’s good. Really. Skip the breakfast — but come back for the Friday Night Fish Fry!

Blech. That about somes this little gem up. We took my parents there for Father’s Day yesterday, and I’m really wishing that we just drove to Raymond to pick them up, drove to a place near us, and drove them home. Let’s start with the positives. The place appeared to be clean and the waitress was friendly. The food was really greasy. The homefries actually looked to be burned in many spots, and my french toast was so soaked in egg that it literally was like having a fried egg stuffed with bread. There actually was a fried egg border on each of my pieces of french toast, that is how bad it was. Additionally I had to watch as my french toast was mistakenly brought to the wrong table and left for a few minutes, called back to the kitchen and sent back to me. My food was the only one with steam coming off of it so I believe they threw it in the microwave to reheat it before giving it to me instead of making a new one. Stay away, just stay away.

The omelette was fine, though it came with sausage(chopped up patties), cheese(american) and onions instead of the sausage, cheese and mushrooms as I ordered. But. .no biggy, I ate it. It was puffy and eggy and cheesy. I added Tabasco. I was happy enough. The service was friendly and quick. The place was full of the usual small town suspects. The coffee was hot and wet. And very slightly coffee flavored. I really wanted to like this place a lot. It was the one local joint in a road of Big Chain hell. My coffee came in a cup with a big lipstick mark on it. Someone else’s lipstick. mrrg. The general décor made me NOT want to hang out there. Weirdly laid out room with a sort of bar awkwardly placed around the cash register, mental institution green walls.. . The most freakin’ opressive color. Was it on sale? O_o It clashed with the maroon and cream colored booths which clashed with the blue chairs at the free tables.. . I’m usually not so weird about interior design but.. . it BOTHERED me, OK??? It does not bother me that they don’t take credit cards. But they announce this on a BIGSIGN in CAPITALLETTERS to exclusion of anything else but the name of the place on the front door. Seemed.. .a little unfriendly. How’s about a sticker on the menu, or somethin’? I dunno, to me part of the diner experience is the comfy cozy atmosphere, and I felt like.. . eat and run was the order of the day. So, the food and service was ok.. but.. .WELL.. yeah, I’d still go there for food well over McDonalds. Unless I just wanted coffee in which case, I’d say the Micky D’s or the Starbucks right down the road would be far superior.
