V&S Sandwiches

This place had gone downhill very fast. When we moved to Ephrata 2 years ago we loved this place and it came highly recommended. The past 4 months we have eaten there 3 times and refuse to give them any more business. The first strike– my husband called in our order and I showed up 20 mins later and they had no idea he called. They laid the paper down and walked away because they weren’t busy so I had to wait around another 15 mins so they could make our sandwiches. Today, i walk in and they gave someone else’s food to the wrong person and the 3 people working were yelling at each other because they couldn’t find it. I was appalled by the lack of health safety– laying order tickets on top of deli meats and then putting the meat away and answering the phone and not changing their gloves, they just went right back to handling food. We will not be back. Disgusting.

Expensive for the servings and you have to watch the register while they punch in your order or you mite just pay 10 bucks for a meatball sub that clearly states on the menu that it is only $ 5.50… Tony, you know what you did there!

Great subs. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks so since every time I am here it is pretty busy. I usually get the buffalo cheesesteak or eggplant parm. Both are great. You get an ample amount of food and you won’t leave unhappy.

Only tried it once. Had a cheesesteak. It was pretty good. I was told it wasn’t like a Philly Cheesesteak and that’s ok. The marinara sauce was an interesting change of pace. The only complaint I would have was that it was one young lady working the place all by herself so the service was a little slow. If I lived in the area, I’m sure I’d stop by now and then.

Cheese steak on a hot dog roll, what more should i say?
