I’ve been here a few times. The food is good, but the kitchen is extremely slow and disorganized. First, the sole server in the restaurant took 15 minutes to acknowledge us and take our orders. I understand, it was busy. It took another 20 minutes to get our spring rolls. Another 20 to get our dinners, and that was only two out of three of us in our party. The third person had ordered a a salad that didn’t get to her until she had to ask for it after an hour after we had been in the restaurant. When she inquired to the server what was the deal with the salad, she was told it was«labor intensive» and«had gotten lost in the shuffle.» She asked for the salad to go, and it was comped, too, which was a positive. We looked at the salad before we left. It was iceberg lettuce, some standard salad ingredients, and rice noodles, which cook quickly. Not necessarily«labor intensive» ingredients. We are hesitant to go back, which is a shame because I want to these guys to succeed. Unless you want to wait a long time for food and have the time, I guess it’s ok to go come here. There are other Vietnamese restaurants in the area that do this type of food quicker and better, though.

The Phở is fantastic, very flavorful. Got the house special phở, comes with a lot of meat. I hate when the broth is over gingered and sweeter, no problem here though. The summer rolls were up to par with any Vietnamese place from Ephrata to Philly. The décor needs work but I’m not going to bitch about things like that, it’s all about the food. Yummm

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area. From the Spring Rolls with peanut sauce to the Phở, everything was awesome. Wait staff prompt and courteous. Atmosphere is not elegant, but the food overcomes the surroundings. I believe if you like Thai or Vietnamese food you could not do better in this area

A great gem in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch land. Banh Mi was excellent. Phở and fresh«summer roll«were fantastic. Simple Ephrata Main Street store front dining no frills inside but great quality fresh food !

I was driving by and decided to stop in and check it out… The food was very very good. The place itself is still a shell of a place. They should definitely do something with the décor because at the moment it looks pretty sad with the plain walls. Also, the music was horrendous! I couldn’t understand the music but it sounded slow and very depressing… I just wanted to run out and kill myself… It was sooo weird and depressing… I waited a long while to get the entrée’s. The young kid at front was very nice and and also was the waiter. If I lived close I wouldn’t dine in I would def take out.

Ordered Honey Dew Boba & Spring Roll with Shrimp! The Boba was very fresh and interesting. I loved the sauce to the spring rolls. I will be coming back to taste the Phở one day!

Amazing food. The staff is always friendly and I was pleasantly surprised that they remembered me on my second trip in. I recommend the drunken noodles. Probably their best dish!

Had the best pad thai of my life today. Maybe the best meal I can remember at Phoenix Phở on main street, ephrata. It was called Drunken Noodle and i had the beef. It was spicy, sweet, had thick noodles, a taste of fresh veggies, and sauce, beef, spices, and there were like 7 flavors all working at once. my eyes were closing and i ate like 2 pounds in like 2 minutes… sooooo good. it was an experience rather than a meal… it left me looking outside and see more vibrant colors… it was excellent.

Phoenix in Ephrata! The best Vietnamese food and Thia food around. I ordered some Spring Garden rolls and they were made with fresh vegetables, shrimp and mint. it was amazing! The Phở’ was wonderful and broth amazing. Haven’t tasted Phở this good since I left California. There is a chef(owner) who makes the Vietnamese food and a Thai lady who makes the authentic Thai cuisine. Pad Thai was amazing and LARGEPORTION that was freshly done! We all said«A Vietnamese Rho’ house in Ephrata???» we didnt think it would be so good but it is wayyyyy better than the Noodle house in Lancaster or the Siagon café off Fruitville pike! you gotta go try it. The spring rols are as large as a burrito at the Taco Bell! and only $ 4.00 for two! The Phở and most other dishes $ 8 or $ 9. If you sweat and get heated when you eat hot noodles, just sit in table 14 and the AC will blow your hair with cold air. I had a wonderful time. Drunkin noodle dishes for $ 9 are amazing and will fill your hungry belly and make you feel good and satisfied. Even the lemon water tasted good since they use bottled water. The kitchen door was open and the chef washed his hands like a trained surgeon going in to the OR. He also had a face mask on to cover his facial hair. I was impressed. The kitchen was spotless! Avacado Boba!!! YUMMY The décor was clean and neat and simple. I would feel comfortable in whatever but the great food is why I will be sure to go again and again. Yea, this was ASGOODASITGETS!

Wasn’t sure what to expect, but enjoyed it. The food was fresh and plentiful. Bubble tea was too sweet for my taste. Service was good. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

Thai and Vietnamese have always been two of our favorite cuisines. When we heard about Phoenix right in our backyard we couldn’t wait to try it. We started with rice paper shrimp spring rolls. No chopped peanuts to accompany the usual dipping sauce. I ordered Pad Thai. First time I have ever ordered that dish that I didn’t like it. Wide noodles and a flavor that if I was blindfolded I wouldn’t have known what to call it. Ruth ordered papaya salad and simply couldn’t stomach it. People tell me I’ll eat anything that doesn’t eat me. I gave it a try and there was an overpowering flavor that I thought was fish sauce. Southeast Asian dishes wouldn’t exist if there wasn’t fish sauce but used excessively it’s very overpowering. Repulsive! Never very encouraging when you come at dinner time and you are the only patron. I am saddened to say I don’t expect them to be around very long. I hope I’m wrong! I was puzzled by all the great reviews. Did we just have a bad nite?

No need to drive into Lancaster anymore. Great little Vietnamese place right on Main Street. The phở was succulent and the banh mi out of this world good with very crusty bread and perfectly sweet and tangy shredded carrots. Boom!

The food and service were outstanding. Possibly the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Without a doubt, the summer rolls were the best I’ve ever had. I credit this to the freshness of all the ingredients. Perhaps being located in the heart of Lancaster County has its advantages. The vermicelli and drunken noodles were outstanding as well. The place is relatively new and so the atmosphere has something to be desired, but I’m sure that’ll be improved over time and it was very clean.

Phoenix Noodle House is a nice addition to the restaurant scene in Ephrata, which has always seemed to lack diverse food options. As far as the food goes I have really enjoyed all of the appetizers I’ve tried here, as well as the chicken phở which I get every time. The bubble tea drinks are good but very sweet, so I usually stick to tea or coffee — the coffee is excellent! With that said, if you’re from out of town/from the city you might be underwhelmed by the décor. It’s not something that bothers me but if you’re big into the décor/overall ambiance of a restaurant than it might not be for you.

Pad Thai good, bit sweeter than what I’m used to but tasty. Phở excellent — authentic — got with steak. Service great. Prices good. Recommend.

The food at this place is exceptional. Who would have thought that you could get great tai food in Ephrata?! The prices are amazingly low considering the quality of the food. Service has been perfect. I enjoyed the pad tai and every bowl of noodles that I’ve tried. The owners are really friendly and I like the way the little restaurant is layer out. It’s simple but really nice. I eat here as often as possible.

So excited for this in Ephrata! Great phở and pad thai ;) more than enough servings for great price. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Interior is nothing fancy, but everything is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I have been to Phoenix Noodle House twice since their opening and have had great experiences. The phở is absolutely delicious(get the brisket– YUM!!!), very flavorful. We’ve also ordered both shrimp appetizers(coconut or chili dipping sauce) and really enjoyed that as well. The waiters have been friendly and attentive and overall it was a really nice dining experience, exactly what Ephrata needs. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it would be great to see more done with the ambiance(it’s very sterile) and more options of hoagies would be awesome. Keep up the great work, we will be returning again soon I’m sure :)
