Britta Salon

wonderful little salon! I was in town for a wedding and wanted to get an updo, so I just chose a place that was nearby where I was staying. I am so glad I found Britta’s. Britta herself was not the one who did my hair — it was her apprentice (I feel so bad, I forgot her name), but she did a great job! At the end, Britta came up to spruce it up a little bit which i thought was great that she took the time to help her apprentice out and gave her some tips.
The place is also just super cute — unlike most salons where you walk in and there is chaos and calamity all over the place, the way Britta converted this space and decorated it really gives it a friendly and intimate feel. I would highly recommend anyone who is in the area to go there for your hair needs!

I was on a Door County vacation and had been wanting a shorter «do» for summer when I saw their ad in the yellow pages. Looked like an upscale place where I could get a more modern style and not the Blue permed granny look (even though I am a granny!) What a find! Stylish salon with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Using an iPod (I can’t) she was able to find a picture of the cut I described and matched the color as well. When she was through I was amazed at how close it all turned out. At my age I knew I wasn’t going to look like Pink but the cut was very becoming. I was more than pleased and now a little sorry she is so far from home. If you are closer you should do yourself a favor and give them a try.
