My grandma looked and looked for a freezer for over a week! We finely tried this Sears and they have a lot of Freezers! Keep in mind this is a small town store so no Baby department no cloths or house wears. They do have fridge freezers tools and stuff like that. They did not have the freezer Grandma wanted in stock so they ordered it for her and 5 days later did a price adjustment because it became $ 30 less on a new sale they had on Sunday! Good service no complaints here.

Thus Sears home store is under new management and the new owners are wonderful. Today their delivery staff was short handed and the owner helped with the delivery. Really friendly and great work. The old review below is here just for contrast. I wrote it about the old owners. ======================== THISOLDREVIEWBELOWISREFLECTIVEOFTHEOLDOWNERS. I UPDATEDAFTERGIVINGTHENEWOWNER A CHANCE. I’ve bought several things here over the last few years. The staff comes across as friendly — but they absolutely don’t take that any more seriously than the surface. Last year I bought a refrigerator there, and needed to move it from their store about two blocks to a building we were rehabbing an apartment in. I asked if I could borrow a hand truck, to which I got the classic«Oh — we can’t do that because of insurance.» No amount of logical or realistic entreaty could get them to do so. So I bought a hand truck, which I gave away to someone afterwards. And of course, yesterday needed to get another refrigerator from them, and once again needed a hand truck to take it to the same building two blocks away. Same person was completely evasive about letting me borrow, rent or even buy a hand truck. When I suggested I’d buy a new one from them, she half-heartedly wandered around the store and said, «oh we had one in stock, but someone must have bought it.» When I asked her to check if they had any more in inventory, she said(and I can’t believe she said this) — «Oh, I don’t remember the product number. We have a lot of product numbers you know, and I can’t remember them all.» She refused to do a systems search for it, and I ended up in frustration just grabbing a few teenage boys to help me carry the thing the two blocks. She was particularly frustrated that we had ordered the product online with in-store pickup. (Note — if I can search their public website, I’m sure they have better tools at their disposal — or at least the same ones: ) When we went into the back of the store with her and an employee, they had almost a dozen hand carts sitting there. She gave me the Saturday Night Live sneering through a smile, «Oh no, I’m sorry we can’t let you take one of those… Insurance, you know…» To which I replied, «Oh, I’m sorry that I’ll never be able to buy another thing from you.» That kind of falseness and«sticking to the rules» around things that so clearly can be addressed is just total bull. And today my back is paying the price. I’ll never buy another thing from this place because this officious and completely fake woman ruined two shopping experiences there. My friend picked up another order for us last week — we’d ordered two microwaves online(part of the same order) and when she picked up the microwave — dealt with the same person. She complained to me that the person was rude, and was adamant that the order only was for one microwave and refused to look into it further. It’s amazing to me how one employee can ruin a company’s reputation so thoroughly.

Small store in a small town. Enough said. Bonus star for the really friendly staff though… It’s just a shame they have about zero inventory to work with, and the store looks like it’s trying to star in an episode of Hoarders. Boxes stacked almost to the rafters and just total clutter everywhere you turn…
