Krain Corner Inn

I’m so sad that we didn’t have a better breakfast experience. I love the homey décor and the people. I love that it’s right by my house and I could even walk there if I wanted. I’m sure I’ll give it another shot and hope to revise my review with better feedback. The omelet I ordered was thick but had cold slices of processed cheese on top and inside. Not gooey, delicious, cheese, but triangles of cold cheese. An omelet is usually a good test for a new place, but this just showed me that they take shortcuts when it comes to the quality of the ingredients. The biscuit was gummy instead of fluffy and the gravy was not flavorful. My kids were happy, but I would like to be able to eat something delicious when I take them to breakfast too!

Awesome all day breakfast menu. I had the lite portion of the Krain’s eggs with biscuits and gravy. The hubby had chicken fried steak and my daughter had the veggie omelet. Prices were great and service awesome. Not to mention all the antiques and memorabilia.

Went for a late lunch the other day, it was just us and another party. Service was ok. Food was ok. I did not feel good following our meal there. Overall, I’m not sure how they stay in business.
Not sure we’ll be rushing back here anytime soon.
