Jon Blalock

Jon is the best hair stylist ever! I usually get 3 to 4 haircuts a year and for the past 10 years moving with the military I have never gone back to the same stylist twice because no one ever impressed me so I refused to go back to the same person. He layered my hair the way I’ve been asking previous stylists to do but they all failed miserably. I’ve been in Enterprise for over 2 years and wish I had met Jon when I came here instead of going to all these other places such as rituals, hair in motion and jcpenney. He puts all other stylists to shame! This is the first time I got a professional haircut. I’ve paid hundreds in the past for poor cuts but his cut looked like a million bucks. I don’t usually write good reviews but I love my haircut and wish I can bring Jon with me to the next place I move to. I had always been scared of getting side bangs so I never did but he tried it and he perfected it. He finally gave me the haircut I’ve always wanted that no one else was able to do. This is not your typical hair salon. It’s residential and commercial but don’t let that image steer you away. The prices are reasonable and you will never want anyone else but Jon to cut your hair again!

I loved the low lights he put in my hair. Exactly what I wanted. I called and he got me in the same day. I had a blast getting my hair colored. I can’t have crazy color due to me being in the military, so he made sure that they were as natural as possible. I highly recommend.

jon is a super nice guy, however i could not in good conscience tell you to go here for a cut. again, i am ONLY speaking of a cut… he may be spectacular with color. i took pictures with me and he layered my curly hair (dry cut, which i’ve never had done before). i ended up having to cut off at least 1 ½″ from my length (which i did NOT want to loose) to make the cut even semi-​liveable. it was like i had a bowl of curls around my head and there was no blending of layers at all, just a big 5″ or better jump to the end of my hair. it still wasn’t good and needed to be blended so i had to go to another salon (in SC while visiting friends) to have it fixed. its better now but i’ve lost all my length and have WAY shorter layers than i wanted. it’s going to take years to get things grown out to where i wanted them. :(

I did a walk-​in yesterday due to a misunderstanding over the phone with his assistant. Jon is extremely nice, and even let me come right in when he hadn’t completely opened up the shop yet.
The shop is very warm and comfortable and we watched hilarious videos as he cut my hair EXACTLY how I wanted it.
It’s really difficult to find a stylist who listens to what you say and does the job right. After my cut, he didn’t rush me for a payment – he instead took me on a tour around his home (which is his shop-​but still very professional) and gave me a mini-​autobiography of himself and his life. It was definitely a different experience.
When it was time for payment, I wasn’t lurked over and he didn’t even watch me put down the tip, which is good because some people seem to try to pressure you over tipping/​payments.
I also looked at his hairline and they are sulfur-​free-​which is great for easily damaged hair. Jon is definitely my new «stylist» and I will not be going anywhere else.
bottom line: Go here and get your salon services done. He listens and the price is very reasonable.

Just moved to town and needed a haircut badly!!! Jon is not your average looking hair stylist but do not let that stop you. He’s very knowledgeable, explains everything and has serious talent in both cutting and coloring. I got highlights today and the look natural and I love them. This is not your Mom’s boring salon shop either. There are movies, magazines, video games, and snacks for you and whoever you have to drag with you that day. And wait till you meet the handsome Caesar!!!
The shop is in his home so it’s comfortable and laid-​back. Jon is super nice and accommodating.
Oh.and most importantly I didn’t have to run home and throw my head under the faucet… Love it!!!
