RTD Lightrail County Line Station

The four star rating is really only valid when compared to the other light rain stations — not to stations across the country. It’s never really crowded and the bridge across the highway isn’t too long. Relatively clean and free from graffiti.
The ticket kiosks work about half the time — you’ll re-​swipe your card about five times each ticket. And the kiosk program still won’t let you buy multiple tickets so if you have 5 or 6 people with you (as you would for a Bronco game…) it takes a while. So allow an additional 12 minutes for parking, ticketing and then walking up and over the highway.
Why can’t I park in the PM parking lot that has thousands of empty spots 99% of the time? Ask the idiots at PM — they didn’t even want the little extension bridge that connects the mall the station!!! I know, I know. You can bring a horse to water…
Not a lot of shade or seating but that’s the «second verse same as the first» theme that RTD adopted. Something about a 0.001% probability of additional crime compared to 100% of people wanting shade and seating while waiting 30 minutes in between trains.

I like this station… its got a bridge near a mall and it has a parking deck AND its the end of the line.
