The food is pretty good. The service is a bit shaky. If the BQ2 ;) has a line out the door and you’re too hungry to wait this place is worth a shot.

Hands down the best quality and value of our entire week trip in Denver! Great home-cooked food and stellar prices at a quaint locally-owned diner. How much more could you ask for. The services was perfect. The coffee divine(even though they don’t carry decaf). I highly recommend the pancakes and hash browns. The pancakes were a perfect size and consistency(get two — it’s enough, I promise!) with a hint of crunchiness. The hash browns were perfectly crunchy with a solid serving size for the price — they’re even included in the price with the pancakes! It’s not rocket science — no one eats pancakes in isolation. Some other breakfast joints could seriously take lessons from this adorably unassuming little joint. I highly recommend checking this place out. Shop local!

Great breakfast place — love the two sisters who work here, but not so much the other girl who works during the week. The food is average and cheap, but still good. Great place to pick up a gyro!

Not much to choose from for a vegetarian… however, the veggie omelette was good, and the homefries were super yummy!

I love Pete’s. It’s a no-frills café, and a great place to eat breakfast on the weekends. The servers that work there on the weekends know my wife and I, and they always take a moment to express interest in the silly little things that are going on in our lives. I love to eat breakfast there, but sometimes the wife gets lunch. She usually gets the burger. Try the breakfast burrito supreme. It’s a gigantic, plate-sized burrito filled with egg, bacon, ham, and sausage. It comes smothered with the house-made green chili which is just a bit spicy.

Service was A+. Our waitress was friendly and conversational, but not the type that takes over your table. The place lakes ambiance, but its very homey. Food was only ok, we had pancakes. They weren’t bad, just weren’t memorable. Kids eat free!

This is a small town diner in the city. The girls that work here are very sweet and treat you like family. Their food is home-style. The home fries and french toast are amazing. They do a good job on breakfast burritos and gyros too. You get a lot of food for the money. It is a great value for really good food.

The food was excellent and the service was prompt. I had a spanish omelet that which had green chili verde all over it and the fried potatoes that was moderately spicy which I was warned about. The spice level was perfect for my taste and I will go back soon whenever I am in town.

I was in the mood for a nice heavy breakfast — I was running around the neighborhood and there was Pete’s. Ordered the Gyros w/2 eggs and a diet Pepsi. The food was solid and they have homemade Tzatziki — some of the best I have ever had! The people there were friendly and quick. They didn’t charge me for my drink because they were celebrating their 1 year anniversary! I really liked this place! The only negative is that they are only open for breakfast and lunch.

Pete’s has all of the basic staples needed for a good breakfast, minus the clean tables other places have. This might be a good thing, as it keeps the lines away. The waitresses are more concerned about serving their current customers than cleaning up after the ones that have already left, which is nice. And the food is good too.

Solid old style coffee shop. I had a cheeseburger(see my pic), very tasty. I only ate half, but that due to my model thin ambitions. Not especially remarkable, but really tasty. The server was an absolute sweetheart. Its obvious they have a lot of regulars. Everyone there knew someone an I like that. For $ 7.I got a home spun burger and fries and got to support a local business. Its all good. TIP: copious parking and entry in the rear of the building.
