Nixons is always a good experience. They have kombucha on tap. I think it’s Happy Leaf (I could be wrong). Great Coffee, Good pastries, sandwiches, smoothies.

Bottomless coffee is a great option if you have the time to sit and relax. Convenient location and friendly staff. Gluten free sandwich options, best to get them toasted. I always get a regular coffee. Tip don’t ask for room for cream, unless you do not want a full cup of coffee. I always ask for no room and have enough space to put my splash of cream.

Espresso draws are bitter which could be avoided if they would just take the time to clean their espresso machines more often they would have a much better draw (coffee 1 star) Also, 3 of 4 pastry’s I purchased were pretty DRY even though they were just delivered as «fresh baked» (baked goods 2 star) Coffee shop itself is great and very comfortable (5 star). Unfortunately a coffee house/​barista that can’t make a drinkable espresso beverage is a pretty poor coffee house in my opinion so unfortunately I would NOT recommend a espresso based beverage and so for that reason I gave a 2 star and would recommend if you want a GOOD espresso beverage go to CORVUS COFFEE nearby on Broadway

A cozy spot with wonderful people inside. I met a new friend there and we chatted for of an hour in a pleasant corner with pretty views of trees outside.
My med decaf cappuccino was huge. I appreciated being served in a real cup and being asks if I wanted a wet cappuccino or dry. My friend was surprised by running into someone she knew who is a regular. She highly recommend the chai. Evidently this is THE place to hang out!

I used to lay over here a lot when driving route 35 (I drive Rtd buses). I never really hung out in here much, but it looks like quite a cozy shop and they have board games you can play. They have tables both inside and outside, on a warm day this could be a nice place to go people watching our even gaze at the fountain at Englewood city center. The staff here is quite friendly also. I don’t think I’ve ever had their regular coffee, though the other driver I would go in with liked it. Their lattes are quite delicious. If your looking for a coffee shop in this area you could certainly do a lot worse than this one!

I’m an Englewood resident, and I often go to Nixon’s when I have meetings with other folks in the community. It’s a comfy coffee shop with adequate seating. There’s food available, and they’re open until 8:00 p.m., so I can meet there in the morning or in the evening after work.
The five-​star rating is for being independently-​owned, clean, well-​lit, located in the heart of Englewood, and being open into the evening. I will continue to visit Nixon’s when I have meetings, or from time to time when I’m in the area and I have a hankering for some coffee.

To be fair, I’ll start off by saying his review is for the coffee, the staff and the coffee shop itself. I have never tried the food or fancier drinks.
That being said, I love going here for a really great cup of coffee. The staff has always been super friendly. I get bags of coffee to take home and I like the free cup of coffee with that purchase. This is my go to spot now for coffee, it always tastes fresh and well brewed, never old or brunt.

4 stars for a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff, two stars for the inability to make a traditional cappuccino even when I asked for it and specified that I wanted espresso, milk, and foam at about 8oz total.
Other than the mediocre coffee, this spot is sweet!

This place is adorable! Located in the artistic side of Englewood, it is positioned well for the area.

I was having a really tough day, and entered this super cute coffee shop. As a dairy free, gluten free, soy free customer, it’s hard finding places that have so many options for us. I found this item called the Power Puck that they make in house, and it made me so happy to have something so delicious WITH chocolate pieces, be something I could eat! At the end of the night, one of the guys working there came over & gave me a free one to take home with me! Talk about kind-​hearted staff! So thankful!

Ok… A for effort, F for food — egg, pork, cheese on a english muffin. It’s smushed like a flapjack on a panini press that needs to be put out of its’ misery! Lol I ordered pork but they gave me sausage. They said it was pork sausage. When I hear pork, I think of pork roll or not sausage. I was thinking to myself I finally found a place that serves pork roll. Not.
You can tell they’re newbies behind the counter. It’s a cookie cutter coffee shop. The acoustics are annoying.
Decent coffee.
