Dr. Hall is a wonderful doctor! He was there for me and my husband when we lost our sixth child that was stillbirth. He was so loving, gentle and kind! We Highly recommend him!

I also use Dr Hall as my back up doctor and ultrasound man with my 3 pregnancies being at Mountain Midwifery. Dr Hall is amazing! He takes his time with you, will answer every and all questions, and you truly feel like he cares. I am very glad to know if something goes wrong at MM and they can’t safely deliver, that I have him as my doctor. I recommend him to everyone who needs a very experienced doctor!

I was an unfortunate transfer to Swedish medical for my birth. After 5 days of on and off laboring, my water breaking, and around 20 hours at the Mountain Midwifery… I was worn out and scared I would end up with a C-section birth. Dr. Hall, his staff, and the others at Swedish were given an ear full of requests regarding the birth.(Anyone prepared for natural birth will know what I mean!). I did not receive any attitude and all of my requests were filled. He was caring, sweet, and professional. Post-birth, I called with a question– and HE actually called me back(not a nurse or assistant). I am grateful my birth went as planned as it could under the circumstance and I had Dr. Hall listening and ‘catching’ my son.

I went to Dr. Hall for a pregnancy verification ultrasound and for some lab testing. He is the backup physician for the Mountain Midwifery Center, meaning they refer patients to him for ultrasounds which is how I was referred to his practice. I found Dr. Hall to be very warm, and spent much more time in conversation with him than I have with other doctors. Granted, I did come prepared with questions and took initiative when discussing my concerns. I don’t know if timid patients would receive the same level of attention. What really built up my confidence in him however, is when I asked for prenatal vitamin recommendations. He didn’t just print off a list and pass it on, but rather walked me through understanding WHY one vitamin pill is not the same as another, and what you pay for when you get a quality vitamin. He also explained that he had personally researched the specific manufacturers on his recommendation list, and was assured that their higher cost came from more ethical practices as well as from sourcing a higher quality product. Since I am purchasing them on my own with no connection to his office, I don’t have a reason to believe this recommendation is from some shady corporate partnership. I also liked that he emphasized the importance of physical fitness in labor by likening it to running a marathon. He really stressed the benefits of exercise and flexibility for a pregnant woman that are unique from the general benefits of fitness. Overall, his personality was like that of an old family friend, the kind that greets you with a soft pat on the back, and I liked that. If your cultural preference is for a more detached doctor who’d never dream of calling you«sweetheart,» then you might not be comfortable with his immediate assumption of friendship.
