Hampton Inn

I filed a report with corporate and was told this establishment had 72 hours to contact me. Not only did the NOT contact me, I received a confirmation e-​mail stating that someone had contacted me. When I spoke with corporate a second time, they refunded the cost of my room. I’ve not given up on Hilton/​Hampton, but beware of this shady business practices of this establishment.

I’ve been coming home to see my parents almost every year since moving away after college. My family decided a few years ago to stay at a hotel because my childhood home was just too cramped for all the visiting children and grandchildren. It was the BEST decision ever! No more restless nights of sleep from loud early morning-​risers and bad mattresses (couch cushions).
The Hampton is a great place with clean, large rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast options are great-​ranging from oatmeal, waffles, eggs, yogurt and cereal. The staff is wonderful! On one visit, my son caught a stomach bug and threw up in the breakfast area as soon as we got there (it was disgusting!). The lady who was working in the dining area didn’t miss a beat and instantly came to my rescue with a trash can. This is our go-​to hotel when we are in town. Another plus it is just a few blocks from Meijer and Skyline.

Excellent hotel with great staff. All the normal amenities of the good Hilton brand, plus nice clean rooms. Food and snack selection is better than average as well. The breakfasts I’ve had here are better than most hotel breakfasts. Good place — check it out!

What you’d expect from a Hampton inn… clean, nice room, great shower. The two employees that I spoke with were very nice and helpful. A bit away from food/​bars though. Great stop for tired traveler looking for clean bed!

It was difficult making reservations due to a special; event in Dayton that weekend. The breakfasts were very good; Surprisingly, the road noise is quite high. Plenty of places to eat in the area. There were deer in the yard out front before dusk The room was very clean.

Best experience. Excellent customer service. Kelly at the front desk was very helpful and friendly and accommodated my request for a change of room when I explained that I was a light sleeper. We always try to find a Hampton Inn when we travel and we’re never disappointed. Breakfast is always good and rooms are clean, clean, clean!

Wasn’t really feeling the Hamptonality on this trip.
The place is new and clean and nice, but the walls are paper thin. You could hear clear conversation from the room next door.
The bathroom in my suite was disjointed. Worse yet the shower was mounted at 7′ high!!! Had to climb up on the sides of the tub just to adjust the flow pattern.
Staff were friendly and the place was otherwise quiet outside of being able to hear you neighbors in suite.

We always stay at Hampton Inns because you can trust the quality but this property is really top-​notch. Very clean with helpful, pleasant staff. Easy access to I-​70 and restaurants. Great breakfast. Wifi easy to use. A great place to stay!
