OMG I miss going here so much. I am an avid concert goer, but in the last two years more shows have been at different venues since Fiddlers did their remodel. I love the easy access of parking(if you know where to go), never a hassle gettting in. I even have my favorite beer stand(Mr. Archuleta is the best!!). Sadly since the remodel I have only been here once or twice. But I know where to sit, always lower section 101. I never have waivered from this section! The sound quality is excellent. Even leaving this amphitheater is not a hassle. Yes Fiddlers Green I miss you…

Venue is not too large, not too small; sound seems to reach all points in good form; tasty food options; bathroom access not too bad; place is clean and well maintained. .. good experience for back-to-back concerts in Aug 15! Cheers! RS

I have been to a lot of outside venues, from Austin, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Chicago. I thought this was comparable to other venues. I didn’t use the bathroom, so I cannot comment on whether it was clean, but my spouse did, and he said the facilities were clean. We saw Dave Matthews Band and we sat in the lawn seating area, which had a nice angle to them, so people were not in your way, no matter where you were sitting. I thought the sound quality was really good. Had no problems in the lawn section(that’s where the true fans sit anyways ;). I would go to this amphitheater again; however, I am hoping that the next show they do, it will be at Red Rocks!

Attended the Dave Matthews concert on 8⁄29 and this was our first time at the venue and was pleasantly surprised. Parking was my only complaint, not enough, far away and expensive at $ 20. Beer was not too bad, $ 8.50 for bud light which I’ve seen worse. We had fantastic lower seats and really enjoyed the show and the crowd.

I saw Dave Matthews on 8.28 and 8.29. First night I was in the seating area right behind the pit, second night I was in the seating area right behind that. My review is on these sections. The sound levels were off, and it was surprisingly quiet in both sections. My husband and I left the concert both nights and our ears were not ringing at all. This may be a good venue for those who don’t like loud concerts but when you can hear everyone around you talking, it’s NOT loud enough. The seats were fine, the grade was not. Normal amphitheater seating rows are layered out like steps, so the surface you are standing on is flat. This is not the case at Fiddlers. You spend $ 85 for a seat where you are standing on sloped ground. This means anything that spills, falls over, bodily fluids(yeah, disgusting), flow down the slope, past your feet, and down to those below you. Disgusting and a tripping hazard with not only the steep slope but all the bottles and cans that roll by your feet. It’s very distracting when your feet are constantly being hit by bottles and large beer cans, thank goodness they don’t serve anything in glass! The last night we were sitting near one of the(sloped) walkways and people were being taken out by bottles zooming down. It was entertaining to watch drunk people try to hobble up without falling over, but it’s very dangerous as an older man had fallen over due to the slope and trash. I seriously hope DMB doesn’t play here again, especially after reading reviews of people who had to wait in will call and miss half the show. This venue seems suitable only for daylight events where everyone is sober. The bathrooms were decent, about the only good thing about the venue.

Lines 2 ½ hrs long for«will call». Concert goers missed first half of the show due to the mis-management here! Fiddlers operators absolutely RUINED what could have been a great night seeing Dave Matthews. They only refunded«some» of people’s tickets. The venue is a concrete jungle with zero charm inside an office park. Total FAIL, would have given management zero stars if possible.

I have lived in colorado for 13 years now and have been to a lot of concerts. And thought it was weird I’ve never been to fiddlers. But after my experience tonight I probably won’t return. Lame super sloped grass seating crammed with people. Reserved seating has about the same space as sitting in coach on a airplane. Oh and what’s up with the reserved seats being on a huge grade also? Concession stand ran out of CO2 for beer and said it’ll take about 20 – 30 minutes to fix. Parking is lame and it’s a complete shit show trying to funnel traffic out. Hey fiddlers you’re always gonna be in redrocks shadows. You know why? Because you don’t give a shit about anything else but numbers and selling tickets. You’re lame and you can have your corporate, black hole of a venue.

I’ve been here before and it’s an okay venue for the burbs… But will call is the worst ever. A mile long for dave matthews! I don’t get it! This place is shit! Don’t go! If you do you’re better off scalping the day of the event!

Worst experience for a concert ever. Forced to use will call. They wouldn’t allow tickets to be picked up early. We have all been in line hour and hours. Why force everyone to do will call?

*Won’t let Dave Grohl influence my decision**Won’t let Dave Grohl influence my decision**Won’t let Dave Grohl influence my decision* Look, it’s an amphitheater. If you have assigned seats I’m positive you’ll have an unobstructed view, won’t slip and fall on your ass while you’re trying to carry your $ 9 beers back to your strategically placed blanket on the lawn, and generally have a great time. If you’re on the lawn, it’s hit or miss honestly. You’re there seeing a band that you love with 20,000 of your closest friends though, so I’m sure you’ll allow those little things.

This is a great Colorado venue. I love that you can get lawn seats. Looking at the stage I prefer the lawn area the the right. It is smaller and normally less crowded. On our latest concert outing we saw Dierks Bently. He came out to a mini stage and walked right by our lawn area which was very cool. I would definitely recommend the lawn seats when seeing a show at Fiddlers Green. Don’t forget to bring a blanket to sit on. They do allow it but of course will pat it down. Enjoy the show.

Dont quite understand the bad reviews for this place. We saw the Foo Fighters and stood in the upper part of the lawn dead center. Obviously we were far away but the experience itself was amazing. Everyone around us was polite(and high), and the sound was phenomenal. The amphitheatre seems to be designed for you to sit and enjoy the music due to the steep slope of the hill but that sucks and everybody typically stands and dances. With that in mind standing on the steep slope is little odd but very doable. The beers were extremely easy to access, the merchandise was great(except for the long ass line), and the bathrooms were more than adequate. Yes the prices for everything is jacked up(beers, t-shirts, tickets) but its like that anywhere and its just the world we live in now… As a new concert goer to this venue and a new resident of the city i have to say this venue exceeded my expectations. The light rail is super close by(~7 min walk), and its cheap and easy to use. We hopped on at the Yale station and the entire ride took maybe 15 minutes. The light rail does get SUPER packed and the cars arrive sparsely after the concert so don’t dilly-dally or you might be waiting outside for a while. Overall i was happy with this entire concert experience.

Reading these reviews almost scared me away. We just had what I would say was one of the best concert experiences ever here. Ok so $ 90 seats, 8 rows back helped but, totally great place, comfortable clean seats, awesome sound. Not sure on the sound how much is the band vs the venue but it was killer. Well mixed. The place was nice, clean, friendly with close by $ 20 parking(10 minute walk at most). You are right by a very good brewery bar/restaurant for before and after(PJ’s, something like that; very nice ale on draft). A decent beer ie craft not Bud/Coors cost $ 10 which even coming from CA as I do is a bit steep but. Fine. We heard John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater renown. Oh man that guy — 70! — still can bring it. Still has that voice, great guitarist, GREAT band all around. This is his ‘1969’ tour, pretty much greatest hits, stuff he quit playing for that very long stretch. He absolutely kicked butt. We were amazed. I’d go again.(AMAZING guitar collection also, and he does some great short monologues about subjects from playing at Woodstock and other memories; great multimedia too. This is a VERY well produced show, first class.) Yes, the crowd was ‘older’ as well which may account partly for the quality experience — no one was barfing on the lawn. Security was efficient, two huge screens to the sides of the stage so everyone could see the band from the lawn seats. How this place got all these scary reviews I do not understand. Who cares it’s in the DTC, just look up at that beautiful sky. It’s kinda set down low so your really ‘in’ the concert bowl setting. It’s fine. The one office building you can see is very modern, lots of glass, they hit it with some lighting, very cool, very Pink Floyd effect. Made me wish I had some of that stuff I used to take in the 70’s… Go. Enjoy.

Came here to watch The Fray touring with Pat Monahan and the Choo Choo Gang. Well we didn’t stay for the latter because we were there for The Fray. Surprising how such a nice venue could be sandwiched in the middle of business buildings. I like this place a lot and everyone was having a good time. As the sun sets, the mountains glow in the distance. This is a smaller venue but does the trick!

This ain’t Red Rocks. I have been in Colorado for nearly 12 years now but the first time I attended a concert at Fiddler’s Green was this past June for Kool 105’s Kool Koncert. At $ 10.51 per GA ticket before fees, it was a steal. The concert was great, the venue not so much. First, the location is odd. I always knew it was in the DTC, I just didn’t realize that meant it was literally IN it. Being surrounded by office high rises makes for a weird atmosphere on a lovely summer evening. Second, the lawn area was gross, maybe it was the section we were in, but the grass hadn’t dried from the rains and there was a sewage smell with bugs flying around. I would think twice about GA at Fiddlers’ again. However, apparently the proper seating isn’t much better: I’ve heard the seats are at an awkward angle. Will I return for a show at Fiddler’s Green? I’m not sure. With concert tickets usually being $ 50 upward these days, it would have to be a band/artist that I love and can’t live without seeing.

I have been attending concerts here for the past 24 years. I’ve seen countless concerts and have had an enjoyable experience at all of them. There is usually close free parking and that’s a definite plus. You can bring in a bottle of water and that is also a plus. I usually sit on the lawn and I like the community feeling and legroom!!! I suggest getting here early to ensure a good parking spot both with your car and your bum!!!

We had our first concert experience there recently and were a little surprised at the location. Right in the middle of what appeared to be an industrial/office park area sits this fairly large venue. The views to the Front Range are truly amazing… we saw the sunset and it couldn’t have been prettier. The sound was good even from the lawn and of course Bruno Mars is an amazingly talented artist!!! The lawn was REALLYREALLY far from the stage, and pretty crowded. We really could only hear the concert, but thanks to the TV screens we got a few glimpses of what was going on up on stage. It’s not like I expected the lawn seats to be fantastic but it was also nearly impossible to get down to the path to get to the bathrooms(«piss poor», excuse my pun), or to get a drink. The various people selling luke warm beer from coolers or tubs of ice seemed to be a good idea to get people out of the long lines for the bars. I didn’t see any food other than a Taco Truck, but I guess I really couldn’t venture past my little square of blanket. The biggest deterrent was the parking. Is there seriously NOT a dedicated parking lot for this venue? Luckily we left while he was singing his last song and were able to get out before the rush. No help with traffic flow from police down by C.B. Pott’s– so I can only imagine. This venue needs some serious attention… maybe some bleachers to make it more organized and safe on the«lawn»? For sure some more parking and other options for the ladies restroom other than nasty porto-lets.
