The mechanic there was great, I gotta hand them that, but the owner will rob you. Same owner as GWB Auto Body and Repair. He tried to charge me double what my mechanic would have charged. Ended up getting the part myself and fixing it myself.

WARNING!!! Avoid this place like the plague. They will completely overcharge you and use bad parts. Additionally, their mechanics are terrible. They catch people in the most desperate of situations (like being stuck on the highway) and swindle them.

Would give these guys a 0 if possible. Absolutely, avoid at all costs. They are the repair shop connected to a Gulf gas station.
Nightmare story where a tow service suckers you into a car repair shop and start replacing parts that you don’t need just to inflate your bill. I got suckered into getting serviced there after my battery died. They not only winded up replacing my alternator but inflated the service price 1.5x from what you could get at an honest, reputable mechanic.
My advice: do not be impulsive about repairs in these situations. Tow your car home first and figure out what to do if you don’t have a «go-​to» mechanic.
