Monica the owner is really nice and her staff too. I have been coming here for awhile now and will continue to come. Great place with personal touch.

The nail salon is on the ground floor of a short building complex, next to other small businesses. Hope you don’t get lost. The business is run by a extroverted Korean woman, who believes that she can cure or help cure infectious diseases, such as nail fungus, blood circulation, and diabetes. She spent over an hour, as I was getting a mani-pedi(which soon become a gel mani-pedi combination) to show me photos as evidence. Most of these photos were taken by her, in dim lighting, that was supposed to depict how she helped cure different ailments via salon services. She also showed me a screenshot of an email that one of her regular customers sent to Dr. Oz, asking him to showcase Sylvan Nails. She took a look at my nails and noticed I had dark lines running vertically on two fingers, and immediately recommended that I get a $ 30 gel manicure, as opposed to a regular manicure. Because apparently, it would help get rid of the dark lines. Gel manicure was neatly done. And they used nice products, so when it was time for me to remove the gel manicure, there was hardly any damage done to my natural nail. And I had no complaints about the pedicure.

One week later and somehow my manicure is still intact! I think they renovated the salon recently, since the massage pedicure chairs seem to be new. Nicer than the average salons around the area. I liked how my manicurist(Maria?) took the time to give me a real massage during my mani/pedi instead of just rushing me out the door.
