Lee Dental & Facial: Angela Lee, DDS

This is a review and an update from what when I was at her previous practice, Happy Dental.
This is a summary of my experience with her (repercussions that I still suffer from to this day 3 years after I made the dreadful decision to see her)
1. She gave me a root canal on a tooth that didn’t need a root canal.
2. She replaced a filling without my permission in the middle of the unnecessary root canal.
3. She sold my wife and me on mouthguards which we definitely didn’t need, but she scared us into doing it anyway.
4. She missed a GIANT cavity that ended up needing a root canal because of her ineptitude in reading the x-​rays. (I found this out after I switched dentists and he pointed out just how obvious the cavity was and was shocked that «Dr.» Angela wasn’t able to spot it.)
5. 3 years after seeing her and getting the unnecessary root canal, I found out that the root canal I got had failed, the root and gums were infected, and now I might need to either redo the root canal or get a bone implant.
I really can’t believe a single mistake could have such long lasting consequences, but then again, because of my experience with her, I’ve maintained absolutely awesome dental hygiene for fear of going through anything similar ever again.
She might not be called Happy Dental anymore (for obvious reasons given my testimony and others like mine), but do not be fooled. This is the same dentist. Please. Stay away.
