Dang, what can I say? This unassuming bakery off one of the main drags in Enfield has some of the prettiest, tastiest pastries around! I have truly never seen a cannoli counter like this one. While most options are not«traditional,» you’ll certainly find something you like with options like Twix, cookie dough, red velvet, and mint chocolate.(See my pics!) Of the ones I tried, they were distinctive and scrumptious.(Each cannoli is $ 2.50.) They also make a great iced latte. The woman working behind the counter was super sweet. Definitely stop in if you’re in the area!

Nice little old school style family run Italian pastry shop. Easy to find with a huge parking lot. A cannoli lovers dream come true, that reminded me of Mike’s pastry in Boston. There had to be 20 something flavors, including Snickers, Kit Kat, cookies & crème, coconut crème, and traditional. I grabbed like five cannoli’s and two slices of pepperoni pizza to go. They had other various cakes and pastries, but cannoli’s seemed to be the specialty here. Service was friendly, and they accept debit/credit. The pizza is left cold without refrigeration from what I could tell on display and heated if you want, which seemed odd, because of food safety concerns so I asked for it heated. The pizza was very good, and I haven’t gotten sick yet from it. I’d definitely go back to buy a cake and try other things. Note: After trying the cannoli’s later, all five who ate them found them to be extremely and maybe overly sweet. To the point where I don’t know if I’d get them again. Have to drop from four to three because of that.

Stopped on the way home for some pizza and treats. The pizza was good. I grabbed a buffalo and bbq chicken. They heated them up. Nice chewy dough and a good flavor. I’d return for another slice. I also grabbed two frozen dinners. Stuffed peppers and a chicken broccoli cheese one. The peppers have a good taste but the chicken was mini chunks of chicken and had about 25 table spoons of oil. It was practically all oil with some ziti and almost no chicken and broccoli. Lastly, I grabbed a cannoli and an éclair. The cannoli was overly sweet for my taste as others have mentioned. I have yet to try the éclair. Overall, the shop is nice, lots of variety for pastries and cookies. I would stay away from the dinners but grab a slice and some treats for later. Update: the éclair was great; the chocolate and filling were delicious.

I like their pizza by the slice with the various toppings available. Large slices loaded with goods. Makes for a tasty lunch. Not the best I’ve ever had, but very good pizza nevertheless.

Fantastic pastries and baked goods… Cannolis are to die for… they are open all the time even on some holidays… super convienient to grab and go… have had bread from there… just as good and even had a work party catered by russo’s and the food was outstanding. Something should be said for the level of quality they have maintained all these years…3 generations of my family have gone and continue to enjoy this place… Must Try for yourself.

The only place to get a cannoli. And it’s a tough decision, because there are lots of awesome choices.

Small family owned bakery and pastry shop with great food and great people! Their sandwiches and pizza are the best in town, don’t go to dominoes or pizza hut when you can get real food here. Cannoli’s are so good and don’t forget they have great frozen meals to carry out if you need an easy and tasty dinner.

Great family owned and operated pastry shop in Enfield, CT. I recently stopped in to buy cannoli’s for my office. They are gigantic and came in so many different flavors: Red Velvet, Snickers, Reeses, Twix, Mint Chocolate Chip… etc. And just in case you’re worried they have sold out to American pop culture by flavoring a classic pastry off of candy, they have classic cannolis and so many more traditional Italian pastries/food. Everyone in the office loved them. They were also reasonably priced at 8 for $ 20. Highly recommend.

One of the best pizzas around! Completely unexpected given it’s a «pastry shop.»

I have to say unequivocally that Russo’s makes the very best Sfogiatelle, Lobster Claws and Lemon turnovers I have had anywhere. There are a number of competing bakeries in the area but none in my opinion are the equal of Russo’s in the aforementioned categories. The lemon filling in the turnovers is perfectly balanced in lemon tartness with just the right amount of sweetness and the flakiness of the sugar coated pastry dough is perfect in appearance and taste. Sfogiatelle dough is one of the most difficult to make, it is a laborious time consuming task to create the small ribbon leaf-like pastry dough filled with a mix of ricotta, sugar, egg, vanilla and candied orange peel for the Sfogiatelle and French pastry cream for the Lobster claw. My favorite is the Lobster Claw and no one, no-one does it better than Russo’s Pastry Shop, their pastry cream and crispy crunchy perfectly delectable dough is what sets them apart from the rest, try it and you’ll see why I’ve made such a big fuss. The Sfogiatelle and Lobster Claws are available on the weekends only, so plan accordingly.

Had the Buffalo pizza. It had good flavor but a ton of corn meal on the bottom, which I found pretty annoying. An unnecessary amount I would say. However, I did enjoy the taste.

This was the first time we had ventured into this pastry shop. I was surprised to see that they make pizza, but we’d already eaten dinner so stuck to dessert. We ordered a couple kinds of cake and were not impressed at all. They were just not top notch in terms of flavor. We also ordered a couple of cannoli and were very pleased with those. I got the pumpkin and just loved it. Totally flavorful. I want another one right now :) I will go back to try the pizza and some more cannoli flavors in the future. I’ll skip the cakes, however.

People always told me that Russo’s was the place to go in Enfield if you were looking for good Italian pastries. Unfortunately compared to every other Italian pastry shop I’ve been to, this one just does not stack up. They have a large selection of flavored cannolis but all of them taste incredibly sugary and fake. Covering them in chocolate and snickers may sound like a good idea but it actually ruined the cannoli. They also have many different cakes, which also had a fake taste to them. The German chocolate looked good but was way too sugary. I have tried this place many times hoping I just tried a bad batch but the same thing happens every time.

This Italian Bakery has really great Pastries as well as the best cakes in the area for sure, they have great pizza also available when you walk in. In addition, the people who run this family owned business are generous and kind, they care about their customers and always treat everyone very well. There is a banquet hall adjoined to the Bakery which can be used for parties and has an elaborate hand painted wall mural inside of it. The Russo Bakery prepares frozen meals and soups that are all very good quality and the cookies are also great. The many pastries and vast variety make this the very best pastry shop from Hartford’s South end to Springfield MA.

When you walk into this italian bakery and you see what a vast variety of pastries are in front of you, Wow will be your reaction with pure delight. I purchase 2 dozen canollies for a office party and everybody loved them. They have 20 different kinds of cannolies from snickers bar to reeses pieces and brownie oreo. If you have a sweet tooth this is the place you should visit to satifiy your cravings, you will not be sorry.

They do indeed have a huge variety of cannolis, but the quality is another story. I split a fudge cannoli with my friend and it was pretty sub-par — an almost stale shell filled with pasty, sugary fudge that tasted like it came from a can of Betty Crocker frosting one can grab from a convenience store. If you’ve ever had a good cannoli, I wouldn’t recommend wasting the money or stomach space on this. And since it’s out in Enfield, CT, that probably wouldn’t be too difficult to do ;)
