Love the feel of being on the dairy farm where they get the fresh milk and make the ice cream. The ice cream was very good!(I had Collins Compost — brownie batter and Oreos)

I am giving this business three stars for the only reason being that the past two times I’ve been there. customers were allowing their dogs to sit right on top of the picnic tables!!! I get that the place is dog friendly but this over the top! It is probably one the the grossest things I’ve ever experienced at a business where«food»(ice cream) is served. Do these idiots allow their dog to sit on their kitchen table at home? I doubt it… so why do they feel that this is ok to do? Management should seriously reprimand when this occurs and post signs at the very least! The ice cream is very good though.

The icecream here is so tasty and reasonably priced. It’s always nice to see the cows in the field and the lines, while sometimes long, go pretty quickly. The toasted almond icecream is my favorite. The sundaes are big enough to share, my friend had the brownie sundae and said the brownie was to die for. My favorite part of the trip to Collins that I took today was the 4 legged busser. She was friendly and assured us that it would be fine if he accident dropped a little spoonful of vanilla icecream. When I was finished she was happy to clean my cup.

Awesome homemade ice cream. We’ve been going every summer for years and it’s always great. Some of the best ice cream I’ve had.

Yum! Great ice cream and a great break from the city area. Bring your cash– you will need it. No electronic arm cards accepted. Worth the drive and the cost.

I had never been here before, which is weird because it’s nearby where I grew up and I love ice cream and also my brother is named Collin, which doesn’t really have to do anything with anything but you think I would have made it here. Also, why the hell haven’t I been here before. The ice cream is amazing! And I mean that, knowing full well that I love ice cream. But you have to drive out into the middle of nowhere, right next to a farm, and get eaten alive by bugs just so you can have some of the freshest, richest, sweetest ice cream I’ve possibly ever had. It’s amazing! Honestly, it’s a fun journey, especially at night when it’s dark and you feel like you are on an adventure to nowhere and then that adventure ends with ice cream. Also, you may see a cow. So that’s pretty good too. Collins, I love you.

Best place to get ice cream in Enfield. Lots of choices and creative flavors only downside is it isn’t open year round and its always busy.

I’m not sure where this has been hiding the last year we’ve lived in the area, but we are glad we were enlightened. The ice cream is luscious and creamy. The regular cup is HUGE, so I would recommend one scoop on a sugar cone for just the right amount of sweet treat. Collins compost, a brownie ice cream with oreos, is a wonderful flavor but all of them are very good. I find them to be a little light on the mixed in toppings, like the oreos, but that is my only criticism. I love that they have new flavors all the time, and it is a great stop after a couple hours of picking fruit and veggies at Easy Pickin’ Orchard which is less than 5 mins away. Pull up a spot on a picnic mat under the trees and hang out for a while, there’s no rush to leave the beautiful area.

We were running errands in East Longmeadow and Enfield when the ice cream temptress started to seductively whisper in our ears. She was so persuasive, we couldn’t resist her charms. A few minutes later, after consulting the Unilocal app, we rolled into the Collins Creamery. What a sweet place! It’s on the property of the Powder Hill Farm in a very rural setting, with barns and Holstein cows. The cows were huddled together by a fence and made for a nice photo op. Just be aware that you can’t get too close, there is a marker on the approach to the buildings that serves as the line of demarcation. The ice cream shop is in a large white building where you order at the counter. They have 30 ice creanm varieties and sell about 20 at a time. Some of the interesting flavors are Caramel Cashew, Tiramisu, Collins Mud, Collins Compost, Root Beer Float, and Cow Chip. They offer 4 varieties of Low Fat/Sugar Free ice creams too, plus soft serve, yogurts, sorbets, sundaes and candy toppings. Two small cones ran us about 7 and a half bucks. I had the Butter Pecan Praline, and it was so good, it seemed impossible to believe it came off the Low Fat Sugar Free menu. Chocolate sprinkles are free! There are quite a few picnic tables on the grounds, so you can sit outside and enjoy your treats. They have one of those photo boards with pictures of cows where your kids can pose behind the cut-outs. The atmosphere is very nice, and the ice cream is reasonably priced.

Farm fresh ice cream. That is all that needs to be said. Also, Grapenut ice cream. Sounds super weird, but it was delicious. Plus, it has fiber? Good for you? That’s a stretch, but seriously, it was delicious.

Very good ice cream! I tried grape nut and compost? It was like a brownie based chocolate. That’s what I think it’s called. As another reviewer pointed out, the ice cream here was very creamy. That’s a plus in my book. It doesn’t beat my absolute favorite ice cream shop though. Great location as well, it was quite picturesque. If I’m in the area again I’ll probably return!

Delicious ice cream. It is much creamier than other ice creams. The toasted almond is wonderful as is the Collins compost. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it is pricier for the amount than their competitors. $ 3.50 for a small cup that is really small is expensive. However, when I am in Enfield I will definitely come back

I absolutely love this place. Farm fresh ice cream with a family friendly atmosphere and delicious flavors. This summer I tried cinnamon roll amongst many others and haven’t found one I didn’t like. I look forward to many visits over the coming years.

Great location and setting in the country/farm area of Enfield. It’s hard to believe you’re still in Enfield. I’ve been here twice and haven’t been overly impressed. The ice cream is pretty good, but not excellent. There is a big selection of flavors, and they have sundaes and Italian ice. The prices are very high for the small amount served. The ice cream isn’t as creamy as other places I’ve been to such as, Grass Roots Creamery in Granby, Ct. The nice country setting with the cows and stuff, although great for kids, takes a toll on the parents wallet. The setting is more intriguing than the ice cream. Sorry Unilocalers, try the places I mentioned and you’ll realize what I’m saying.

Some of the most excellent ice cream we’ve ever had! It was so creamy, and delicious. We had coffee, cookie dough, black raspberry chocolate chip and Collins Compost. All were terrific. We will definitely be back again when we are in the area. Their 5 — star rating is well — deserved!

Went with my best friend & his wife after an awesome homemade Thai curry chicken with rice. Huge selection of ice cream. Freshly made and creamy as the name suggested. But not a lot on sorbet and Italian ice. Portions are decently sized and they have a huge outdoor seating area and graveled private parking around the place. They have only a small outhouse looking restroom. So great place to hit and run but not to chill for a long time.

If you have grapenut ice cream, I’m a customer for life. I grew up in New Bedford living on ice cream flavors like grapenut, rum raisin & frozen pudding. You can’t find them just anywhere now. Collins Creamery has a creamy, grapenutty version that makes me happy! And lots of other flavors I’ll be back to try! We also tried the chocolate shake… huge, filling & chocolatey. Very good. And the raspberry sorbet which was downright perfection. I’m sold. This will be our go-to ice cream spot from now on. Beautiful spot. Nice workers. If I can love this place on a 40 degree, rainy night, I can’t wait to see my reaction during high summer. Go here. Now.
