After calling to enquirer about a typical 6 month cleaning. I eventually gave up, and called elsewhere. The women who answered the phone was awful! She wouldn’t let me get a word in. Interrupted me every time I tried to speak. She also let me know that you must first come in for an 80 minute consultation. Then they will schedule an appointment. I had never heard of such a thing, and was trying to ask if insurances (in general) cover the 80 minute consult. She got defensive and started saying how the dentist was more thorough and If I wanted to go to a dentist that was not that thorough… On and on. She was very matter of fact, and confrontational. I called enquiring about a teeth cleaning. Not to be fought with, and interrupted on the phone by someone I am about to give my money to. Steer clear! Unless you like condescending.
UPDATE: Dentist James Rea in Herrin, Illinois is a great alternative! Plus close by.
