I’ve learned to never judge a book by its cover. Heros has excellent food and great service. Business is owned and operated by a local family that is truly appreciative of their customers. Highly recommend. Bring cash. Bring your own wine or beer for dinner.

We just tried this place tonight after reading the great Unilocal reviews. I love sushi and my husband tolerates it, but loves Chinese food. This restaurant sounded like the perfect combination. The quality of the food was excellent. The place is immaculate and I noticed the man making the sushi was wearing gloves. It seems to be a family run place and they are very welcoming. My husband and I both ordered soup. It was a large bowl of soup and the flavor was delicious. I had the sushi and the presentation and portion was beautiful. I highly recommend the«American Dream» roll. I didn’t even need any soy sauce because the flavor was delicious. My husband’s sesame chicken was fresh and presented beautifully. He was so full from the soup and sushi that he could barely make a dent in it. We could not get over how cheap the food was-especially the sushi. I cannot imagine finding better sushi for such a cheap price. This surpasses Wegman’s sushi by far! Although we live on the complete opposite end of Broome County, it is worth the drive and we will definitely be back(multiple times)!

Great Food and Amazing Prices Definitely an authentic small restaurant that produces a wonderful taste and presentation. The sushi speciality rolls were created with not only an invitation of appeal but that of tastebud curiosity.

Great Chinese and Japanese food! They also have free delivery and have lots of coupons on their menu. One time they didn’t ask for our credit card number over the phone and the delivery guy had to go all the way back to get the receipt for us to sign. I felt so bad, but he was so nice and understanding. Will definitely order from them again!!!

driving by it looks like a tiny little whole in the wall restaurant, but it’s actually pretty nice inside with nice people working here too. the menu is a combination of chinese food and japanese food. i’m not into fish so i stuck with the americanized chinese food menu most of the food was alright. the friend wontons weren’t that good. i didn’t like the texture, it was too chewy and there was very little meat and all around there wasn’t really any flavor. the sweet and sour sauce that came with them was ok but i’ve had a lot better. i tried the honey chicken wings and they were just ok. the meat on the inside was a little tough and something about the breading seemed a little off, but the flavor was ok. the pork eggroll was decent but a little too greasy. their lunch menu comes with chicken fried rice, which i’ve never had, but it was ok. it had a decent flavor to it but the peas and carrots outnumbered the pieces of chicken by far. the sesame chicken was decent. the sauce was good, just on the boarder of being too sweet and the breading was good, although i wish it was a little crispier. if you’re into sushi, this place might be worth a shot, but for chinese food there’s better options in town.

It is a good quality food and it is fairly cheap. The only issue I have with their sushi is too much sauce on top, and they have TV working which is in foreign language and sometimes annoying. However it is an easy fix. It is definitely worth trying out, the sushi rolls are fresh, and the hot kitchen food is really nice, probably one of the best ones in town.

We went looking for a restaurant on 4th of July, and found Heroes. The food was excellent, the service super friendly. We had charasi, jalapeño yellowtail shashami(?)., white dragon roll. All were tasty and had a different spin than the usual. We look forward to go back and hope you go to enjoy this lovely little restaurant.

If you haven’t ate here, you’re missing out during your time here in Binghamton. A family business ran by mom, pops, and the most adorable little girl in the tricities. The Chinese cuisine is QUALITY and prices are CHEAP. Seats are comfy and service is warm. You’ll have the feel of a family dinner without any regrets in your wallet. The only regret will be not reading this review earlier!

My husband and I discovered this place a few months ago. We love it! We are both recent sushi fans and always like to try something new here. We have been here about 6 or so times, it is very rarely busy but our service is always wonderful. The sushi is incredibly reasonably priced and delicious! We have mixed in some of their Chinese offerings as well and they are also wonderful!

What a gem! Remarkably fresh sushi(the spicy crab roll is a favorite) and they do a great pad thai. We’ve never been disappointed with a single dish we’ve ordered. Delivery is insanely fast(and we’re not right around the corner or anything). It’s so great to have a place like this in Endicott!

Yum! If you are looking for fresh creative sushi rolls in a cute setting at a great price look no further. This new little hidden gem of an Asian fusion restaurant has the best sushi in the area. As a vegetarian, I was impressed with their selection of fun and tasty veg rolls. My husband, an avid sushi and meat eater, was impressed with his rolls as well. They also have a nice variety of lunch specials, including Chinese dishes and bento boxes. As a side note– their Chinese offerings tend to be more Americanized. If seeking authentic Chinese I would look elsewhere, but if you are craving fresh sushi or a bento box I highly recommend. I would have given a 5 star review for the great experience that we had, but the owner/waitress forgot to bring my husband his soup(that was part of his lunch special). With that one exception, the service was attentive and warm. I will definitely be returning soon! Oh, and its BYOB, what more could you ask for?

Edited 11.5 after 5 months of eating here: Note: For some reason, another reviewer recently posted an incorrect website. I order from this website here: . My personal experiences so far: I have ordered sushi from this restaurant 10 – 12 times(mainly for sushi, usually around lunchtime.) The red dragon roll and salmon tempura rolls have been my favorite, as well as the crispy, spicy salmon roll and the avocado sushi. What set this restaurant apart from the others I have tried in the area are the excellent customer service, very nice portions for sushi, and pretty affordable sushi prices. At the time I am posting this(July 25th, 2014) the menu is currently featuring sushi at 40% off(the rest of the menu is regular priced). That caught my eye and I couldn’t resist trying this — trust me, it’s delicious. For those in your office or family who do not like sushi — I have tried one other option so far, and that is the lunch special with teriyaki chicken. It comes bento-box style and inside is tempura veggies(yum!), a nice portion of rice, a regular-sized side salad with the typical ginger dressing, and then the chicken teriyaki. The chicken was tender and the sauce was nice.(Also included was a bowl of miso(pretty standard, yummy). If you are in the Endicott surrounding area and want to order lunch or dinner, this is a great option and priced right. It took 30 mins when I ordered last(for pick up to be ready). I plan on trying more types of sushi and appetizers and will post more pictures. Sushi can be a splurge but this is a can’t miss for people looking to try really good sushi and not break the bank. Note: It is a diamond in the rough — the outside of the restaurant is not glamorous– but the inside is very pretty and cozy and you really feel welcomed. I noticed that this restaurant was not on Unilocal and I had to add it on here because I of the exceptional service and addicting sushi.
