Suzy’s Coffee Shop & Deli

This place is great if you work in the building and don’t feel like running out for lunch. Suzy is super friendly and the food tastes good! I’ve tried the sandwiches and gyros and those don’t disappoint. I’m actually having the gyros lunch special right now and it comes with rice pilaf (so yummy!) and a salad. Her veggies and fruit are always fresh and she even makes her own hummus! I agree with Vickie C.‘s advice… order ahead! My food is always ready in 10 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend getting the chicken… the last time I ordered it, it was dry. Also, just an FYI — she reheats things in plastic containers. They might be microwave safe but it’s good to know if you’re freaked out about microwaving plastic and BPAs.

This is a small café located within the 4^th floor of the Encino Executive Plaza. The name tells it all– its a place owned by a lady named Suzy. She’s super nice and friendly.
There’s a variety of food: paninis, salads, soups, gyros, hummus, ice cream, smoothies. There’s also plenty of energy drinks, coffee, soda, juice. The food tastes pretty homemade.
The service is pretty slow though, especially when its only Suzy running the show. But if you work in the building, just grab a menu for the future, call in for your order, and go pick it up to save time.
For those busy days that you can’t go out for a long lunch, this place does a pretty good job for a quick bite.
