My one and only experience with a contractor. They are bonded and licensed, however most of their work was shotty and out of city code.
There is too much to list here but a few examples are as follows:
The electrician they brought in for the project was fired due to being unprofessional.
I was approached by neighbors multiple times about the workers conduct when I was at work.
They didn’t get a city permit to work on the house.
The entire HVAC system (they installed) in the attic is out of code.
They left paint stains all over the carpet.
They installed leaky replacement windows.
There was a complete lack of attention to detail and oversight from the general contractor.
The process was a struggle throughout. The contractor’s responses to my concerns were literally one lie after another. The cost to bring my home back within code is over $ 15,000. I was fed up, opened a case with the bond company, which lasted a year and a bunch of attorney fees, but I won.
Stay away from these guys. They are a classic example of contractor nightmares. Mike Wright especially.

The initial contact was good as the owner promptly called me back to get an appointment on the books for an energy audit. On the day of the appointment, however, I called after waiting an hour only to be told that the technician wouldn’t be able to make it that day and would need to reschedule for weeks later. Once the tech did make it out, he was in and out pretty quickly and suggested that I should replace all my ductwork even though I had a HVAC company about a week prior and they felt that wasn’t necessary. I mentioned this and the tech seem to be annoyed. I had two items that I wanted to get estimates for, which I explained in my initial phone call, and after two weeks I’m still waiting to see anything in writing. In this day and age of Unilocal and Angie’s List, it amazes me that companies provide such poor customer service. Then again, it’s the companies that do that will have longevity and those that don’t that won’t last.
