Kansas helped me believe in myself and take the next vitals steps in my recovery. I feel like I am a fully functional person in life these days and Kansas played an instrumental role in that. The great thing about Kansas, is he does not want you to stay stuck in therapy. He wants you to grow and move on. That is refreshing and how it should be. I think there are good, ok, and bad therapist in the field — Kansas is an exceptional one. From day one he let me know that he would offer his best guess and that it would be me that knew best. This is so true. If you are looking for answers get connected to yourself… perhaps Kansas can assist you in that.

As the Clinical Director at a nearby residential treatment facility in Encinitas, I have had the pleasure of referring many of our residents to Kansas and True North over the past several years. Our Alumni consistently give us positive feedback about True North. In fact, some of our former residents, who are at different programs after discharge, have told us they are jealous of their new friends who are at True North! This program appears to be more process group based, which fosters increased cohesion and personal insight for the group members. I tried to contact James Cafferty by phone and fax multiple times over the past couple of weeks and he never responded. I can only conclude that he is unavailable and/​or extremely unprofessional.
