Loved getting sugared here. Christina is the best! Always welcoming and professional. Even though it’s not what I look forward to every month she makes it as quick as possible as well as painless as possible. Definitely lasts a long time as well as exfoliates my skin. Loved getting my Brazilians done and got my eyebrows done a few times as well with Christina.
Did a facial once with PCA and it definitely helped my skin.
If you want to try it definitely do it with Christina you won’t regret it!

I had a really great facial with Bridgett. She was super friendly and made me comfortable. I used to work at a spa and got super spoiled by getting facials regularly. I am glad I found this place because they have a membership for only $ 39/​mo. This gets you ether a 30 min massage, facial, or Brazilian wax. Or you can use it towards a credit on a longer service. I will be getting a facial every month for at least the next 6 months. Great deal and I’m really excited about it!

I went from looking like Frida to feeling like a Movie Star in 30 minutes flat… and left feeling relaxed and pampered. Excellent service. The rooms were clean, relaxing and private. The girls here are super sweet, professional and knowledgable about skin care. I’m never going back to waxing — sugaring is where it is at!

I did a Brazillian sugaring and an express facial. The practioner was extremely nice and accommodating. The sugaring experience was wonderful compared to waxing. The only drawback what that the air conditioner was pointed directly at the table/​upper body area and made it very hard to relax during the facial.

Satisfactory business. I am a repeat customer. Could maybe do without the automatic billing cycles but they provide a good discount. Happy with the services I have received here! Would recommend.

Got my second PCA peel here done by Christina. I am a regular member who goes for sugaring. The peel always is fantastic. I flake for about 5 days and underneath is a beautiful layer of glowing skin! All of the PCA products that she recommended to me have greatly improved both the texture, complexion, and glow of my skin in between peels. I’m 31 so it is never to early to start managing your aging regiment properly. Kudos to Christina! She is awesome!!!

Love this place! Number one reason to go here: Christina. She’s the best at what she does, and such a sweetheart! Number two reason to go here: their membership is amazing. Totally worth it. Sugaring is the way to go, so much better than waxing. Christina sees all of my friends as well, and we all love her! I never have to wait, Christina is always ready for me when I get there, and they always accommodate my schedule. Go go go!

Jackie gave me a massage that was nothing short of a miracle… she was very firm and strong (by request), and added aromatic oils to sooth my tense muscles and create a tranquil experience.
She’s friendly and quite professional, we’ll definitely go back again!!!

Got my first ever Brazilian sugar wax done here and definitely recommend this place! Caprianna did my sugar wax and she was so friendly and made me feel really comfortable throughout the entire experience. Will definitely come back!

I’ve been going to Christina for almost a year for a Brazilian and i’m so happy I found her. She is ready for me as soon as I get there (yay for no waiting!) and is literally done in under 10 min! She is very professional, knowledgeable, easy to talk to and amazing at what she does. If you are looking for a place to go for a great Brazilian wax, I highly recommend going to Christina!

Bridget is really great! She did a nice facial and added a very relaxing massage of my arms and hands and shoulders. My skin feels very nice. It was a pleasant experience that I enjoyed. I bought a groupon, and found a very nice business that I will return to.

Gave up trying to return to The Encinitas Spa! I was a regular client for a couple of years and my actual appointments were great. Numerous times I had to wait 15 – 30 minutes after my scheduled time to be seen.
It began to be very difficult to get on their schedule and it was nearly impossible to reschedule the several times THEY cancelled my appointment.
I started to feel as though they were doing ME a favor by even booking an appointment for me.
Tried to return as a customer and they just couldn’t really accommodate me.
Things were never the same after Brian left!!!
Moved on
(Brian called and explained some of the issues and how we got off track. He offered a complimentary service and gave me an available spot. I truly appreciate the effort and for that I will change my score.)

I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! Hands down best massages and facials I’ve ever had and I’m quite the spa goer… Suzanne has magical hands and has helped with my recovery of an L4 herniation… I don’t trust my skin to just anyone but wholeheartedly trust the staff to pick the right facial/​peel each time I’m in based on my skin analysis. I have very sensitive skin so sugaring is the way to go for me. It doesn’t leave me red for hours and honestly doesn’t hurt as much either since it doesn’t adhere and rip off skin…
I’ve sent friends and family here and every single one of them has loved their experience… I can’t wait to visit and be pampered again!!!

This spa is a gem! I do not have enough praise for Christina at the Encinitas Spa. She has virtually transformed me and my daughter’s skin. After many doctors and other spas, this by far is the best… Christina’s knowledge, bedside manner and her skills make her the top in the business!

I first came to Suzanne back in 2010 and thought it was definitely time for me to update this because my first review did not do her and her services justice. I moved out of San Diego and was so sad that I couldn’t go to Suz anymore but I’m glad to be back in town again!
I was there two weeks ago for a brazilian via the sugaring method. Ever since I’ve had the sugaring method done by Suz I’ve never gone back to regular waxing. Because of the sugaring method, I have less irritation and less ingrown hairs (best of both worlds right?) It’s hard to find a method that eliminates both inevitable issues for anyone and I’m lucky to have found Suz who is amazing at what she does and helps me feel at ease! Encinitas Spa is family owned, so they make you feel so welcome and at home. Facility is easy to find and clean too! Looking forward to my next appointment with Suz!
P. S. sugaring is better than waxing

Christina is simply the best esthetician I’ve ever been to! She is knowledgeable, offering services that meet my needs — without recommending unnecessary extras. Her work leaves me feeling better every time I visit her.
I have been going to the Encinitas Spa for a while for sugaring and have enjoyed the results — Christina is thorough, determined to do a complete service. Recently, I started a series of chemical peels on my décolleté to help undo years of sun damage. I can’t even say how happy I am with the results. The redness is clearly fading, and I’m enjoying much more even skin tones. I thought I’d have some kind of discomfort during the process, but there is none.
More than that, Christina is such a warm and friendly person to talk with … she is genuinely interested in her clients and takes the time to know them. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!

I first came here for some pre-​wedding pampering in 2011 and have been going back ever since. I’ve gotten facials, peels, and massages and they are all uh-​mazing! Today I went in for an express facial with Christina (her work is fantastic by the way), who also removed several milia (those annoying hard little white bumps that crop up out of nowhere) during the facial — although I don’t think I would have gotten the milia in the first place had I not skipped my regular facials there for the last year due to a brief stint I did as a beauty consultant for a cosmetic company (didn’t want to have someone ask me about my skin if I wasn’t using all the products I was selling).
Anyways, I’ve gotten facials from other places but Encinitas Spa is hands-​down my fav. Everyone there is super cool & friendly, and their membership program allows you to go in for monthly treatments at a discount — I highly recommend it!

I saw the reviews on Unilocal and decided to try the Brazilian and underarm sugar wax before my wedding. I was nervous abut going but Christina made the whole experience great! She is really kind and friendly and does a great job. I signed up for the monthly membership and now go to Christina for a Brazilian and underarm sugar wax once a month. The spa is also very clean and relaxing.
I highly recommend trying a sugar wax and seeing Christina!
