If I could give zero stars I would. Beware of this pet rescue company! After two attempts to meet with this woman, who barely even picks up her phone, I finally met up with her even though she was two and a half hours late. She did not represent the health and wellness of the dog truthfully on the phone and when questioned about the dog’s health, shot history and microchip during our visit she became overly defensive, only to tell me that she wasn’t comfortable with the adoption taking place, even though I was more than willing to adopt the 6 month old dog in its present condition. She became combative even after just asking simple questions about the dog and stated that this was not going to be an easy adoption due to the health of the dog, a statement she never made clear in previous phone discussions. This lady is a kook and has no business running a rescue company. I now understand why there are so many other negative reviews. Buyer please beware!

I dislike this woman… took me nearly 3 months to get my puppy (luelue bear) fixed… she made apt. I went to and the place she sent me to never heard of her and when I finially went back they stop taking her because she don’t pay for the animals to be fix… she said I had to have micro chip it don’t even work… she was dead set on luelue having distemper aka she didn’t she is allergic to grass and other stuff… she put her has a mut. on the paper work… I had her taking to the vet and DNA teat done and allergies test done on her she is a Maltese. she never wanted to answer phone call nor text or emails and always complain that I was annoying her witch I was not cause I was trying to set up getting my baby fixed and micro and shots… went to her house witch was so disgusting I seen 6 dogs in one kennel shit and piss all in the house. many dogs put in one room… husband seem to be on some kinda of drug 90 miles to nothing… and would never shut up… she was always asking foe me to take 3 or more dogs to foster after I told her I’m only allow one dog but can get away with two… even her husband tryed to do that too… I’m glad I’m done with this woman… she even lost my paper work … to me it’s not worth 300 for a dog from her… I love my luelue bear but never again from that woman… buy a dog from a actually shelter. and always do your homework. cause she has nothing but bad review then good ones…

Poochie Momma is one of the best rescues. They take the harder to place dogs, the sick dogs, and the abused dogs. They work with next to no funds and whether a dog comes with donations means little to them. I have personally worked with Wendy, the owner, and have fostered dogs for her. She follows through on all promises and helps these animals no matter what. On of my fosters broke with PARVO from my house, I guess. Wendy paid out of her own pocket about 3 grand to save this sweet dog. She does not give up on her dogs.

I love my dog but this lady lied, lied, lied about my dog’s health and temperament when I adopted her. She had a BAD case of fleas, did not have an implanted chip (when I was specifically told my dog did), she had loose stool and no appetite and a huge gash on her head.
After having her for a week it became increasing evident that our dog had been abused. She had lots of separation anxiety, fearful of men, bicycles, is hyper vigilant and was always cowering. Even after having her for four months she still suffers from lots of these issues. I feel so bad. Don’t buy into this lady’s bs and do your due diligence before you get stuck with a dog who ends up costing you hundreds of dollars in veterinary bills.

Wendy seemed kool, The adoption went great but she never got back to me about my pups medical records wich were important as my pup needed the rest of her shots.
She only called me back to tell me to tell my vets office to not bother her (which I had to resort to as she wasn’t, returning my calls amd texts) I even let her know she could email them to me if she was too busy.
All turned out well in the end anyway, My pup is doing amazing I took care of her shots.

VERY UNHAPPY with our experience with Wendy, the owner! There is something very wrong with her. We contacted her and offered our help with fostering. She said she had a momma cat and her three young kittens who needed foster care until an adoption took place.
She made an appointment to drop the cats off the following morning. She did not show up until 8 pm that evening. No phone call in between… we had to call her for an arrival time. Then she said she’d come back the following morning to give them their shots and have us sign her contract. She NEVER SHOWED UP and never called??? The momma cat was sneezing, throwing up, had many fleas and also diarrhea.
We called and left several messages about our concerns but she never returned our calls. More days passed with no correspondence from her. We left more messages and received one call back saying she was very busy and she’d contact us. Again, she never called or showed up to help with our concerns about the momma’s health!!!
We finally called her and asked her to please pick up the poor animals. The momma cat needed medical help. She finally called us back and said she’d come by before 2 pm. She didn’t show up until 3:15. She was angry and very rough with us and also rough with the cats. My daughter was holding the momma cat in her arms because she was so ill. And, per Wendy’s instructions over the phone, we had placed the three kittens a crate she had left with us.
She stormed in and ripped the momma from my daughter’s arms and literately THREW her into the crate with the kittens. No conversation, just scary anger from her. She picked up the crate and stormed out to her SUV and then THREW the crate, with the cats in it, into the back. She was unbelievably rough. My daughter cried when she saw how the cats were treated. She had become attached to them and truly cared about them.
Wendy seems to care more about making money from the adoptions than she does about the animals she rescues. THIS WOMAN SHOULD NOT BE IN THE BUSINESS OF «HELPING» ANIMALS.

this rescue is amazing. they really go out of their way to help an animal in need and to find them loving homes. I ended up keeping a foster dog from them. She (coordinator) was very nice and worked with me as far as adoption fees and vetting. Thank you so much Wendy for all you do god bless you and all your rescues. Thank you to all the people who help with donations there are wonderful stories as much as sad ones.
