Dr Monahan is gentle, precise, and kind. He helps me feel better immediately. I am sending my husband in and any friends who need to relieve back and neck pain, or just feel healthier overall.

I travel from San Clemente to see him! I have been to other chiropractors in my area and no one can ever get it right. I always end up back at Dr. Monahan’s office.

I am pregnant and have been looking for a chiropractor in my area since however long I can remember. Fortunately, I stumbled on one by accident through Dr. Monahan’s receptionist, Shelley. She has raved about him since day 1 of meeting her and I am glad I took her word for it. I highly recommend this office and completely disagree with the 1 star review that was posted before me by Carmenza. I would rate this higher for customer service if I had that option available. Thank you very much for treating your customers with respect and helping me get linked up to an excellent Dr. :) 10 *‘s!

I entered his office to make an appointment for the first time, and was treated extremely unkindly by his receptionist. She lacked personality, professionalism, and more than anything, manners. The ambiance in that office was terribly weird and right after I made the appointment I cancelled it. The doctor came to the front desk and told me his wife had made a comment of *good luck with that one*…referring to me! How inappropriate is for him to make this comment to me? Even if she said that, why tell me?
Maybe the receptionist was tired and she was having a bad day, but for him to make that comment?
Awful experience and thank God I found a much nicer, friendlier and professional chiropractor a few minutes from this office!
If you are in the business of taking care of people, make sure you vent your frustrations in private and treat everyone who steps into your office with respect and good manners.

I’ll be honest, I was an unlikely chiropractic candidate. I went to Dr. Monahan as a last resort after experiencing some severe pain that a half dozen «specialists» couldn’t alleviate… and I experienced immediate results!
Dr. Monahan is extremely knowledgeable and he picked up on details that other doctors had ignored. He didn’t just help alleviate my pain, he offered solutions that have helped me prevent its recurrence. Truly, Dr. Monahan gave me my life back.
One more side note that you may find relevant when making your choice in practitioner: Dr Monahan is an absolute joy to see each week! He has such a happy, kind demeanor that you’ll feel better both physically and mentally when you leave his office. I can’t sing his praises enough!
