OMG I have not been in years and had a craving for a Big Mac. What a total disappointment. The fries were so salty I could not eat them and the Big Mac totally cold. The only thing I could digest was the diet coke. What a waste.

Consistently good each visit. Love half price Filet ‘O Fish Friday! Some locations discontinued this fine tradition. Health conscious? get a side salad instead of fries. Great staff makes it a pleasure each time. Also, one of the cleanest of the McDonalds I have gone too.

Please dear god, do not go here. The WORST service @ any mcdonalds in history. 40 minutes to get a burger(timed it) and then the manager who barely spoke English wanted to argue with me, service sucks also as bad as the food

This location burned down quite a while ago and though there’s another Micky D’s few miles down the road, I missed the convenience of a quick burger being so close to home. Previously, having the worst drive thru lay out you might ever experience, the city of Encinitas building commission had a few issues with the new plans. Probably said drive thru and a few others, but apparently came to an agreement as to my surprise, It’s open for business in new dressing. And I must say this is now the sharpest McD’s I’ve ever seen. No more kids playland on site but it now sports interactive TV’s with games loaded for kids and at least the one adult which heard and saw walking from it claiming to have the newest high score. The walls are very modern tile and even the cup lid dispensers are new, the likes I’ve never seen before. It’s like a «State Of The Art» McDonald’s. Very nice! Grand opening scheduled for December 25th. I am happy to see it return. I love their fries.

I know this is just McDonalds & there’s not much to say that will change anyone’s mind, but occasionally I go here for a quick cheeseburger. This location’s drive-thru is consistently a short wait time. They are always ready with my order and it’s always been correct. Can’t ask for much more than that … Oh, except to add Gardenburgers to the menu!

If I could give them a ZERO rating, I would. I went through the drive through to get lunch … during normal lunch hours. I ordered 2 McDoubles(no onion, extra pickles) and a Large Fries. I drive the approximate 5 miles back to the office, open the bag and see Medium Fries. I drive the 5 miles back — show them the receipt. They replace the fries. It did not even occur to me to check the 2 McDoubles. The response was«I’m sorry … I understand.» It’s a standard response — I worked in fast food as a kid — I get it. I get back to the office, start on the fries and move to the McDoubles … to find … onions on them. Seriously, not one thing right … this store is SO computerized, I can’t fathom how absolutely EVERYTHING was wrong. The sad part is … the cook got it wrong, the person assembling the bag got it wrong and the manager purportedly overlooking these things failed to do their job. It is absolutely amazing the compounding of errors on just one meal. Where are the standards!?!

Okay, I’m not actually a FAN of McDonald’s(for fast food I usually prefer Carl’s Jr. or In-and-Out). But this one gets four stars from me, compared to other McDonald’s, for two things I’ve not seen elsewhere… 1) Specials on Fish Fillet sandwiches on Friday(I like ‘em as a change from a burger and without the special won’t order them because I think they’re over-priced for what they are). 2) While most other McD’s will call your receipt number to tell you that your order is ready, this one will ask you and call you by NAME. You’re not just a number to them. Extreme kudo’s and THANKS to the management for that decision to make ordering a more personal experience.

First off I’m not much of a fan of McDonald’s in the first place. But the other day I had a craving for there chicken mcnuggets. So I went to McDonald’s to get some. I thought that the 20 piece was on sale. So when I approached the counter I was looking for a sign or something advertising them. I did not see one so I though that I was wrong and just ordered the 10 piece. While walking away from the counter I noticed the sign in the window advertising the 20 piece nuggets being on sale like I thought. For the same price I just payed for the 10 piece. The girl behind the counter should have told me about the sale when I ordered. Nice customer service McDonald’s. Just makes me not like McDonald’s even more.

I avoid Mc Donalds, unless I got a legit reason to go, and that reason is usually ‘my kids’. My kids were hungry, as we were on the road from LA to SD. They had some ‘MackyD’ giftcards, so Daddy did not have to pay(sounds like a good title for a Country song). The McD has a playground, some plasma screen TV, a TV with cartoons in the childrens section & drive-thru. It looked all good, but not everything, besides the fries(I Love It) IMO the pictures never match up with the ‘real deal’. I had a mushroom Swiss ‘whatshallmacallit’ burger which tasted better than it looked. Mc Donald only in an emergency! PS. unless I am in Holland, they got there the McKroket and that is delicious!

this particular mcD’s was my first job-1986 this is truly a family owned and run franchise shift managers used to buy us underage kids beer after closing, the best thing to eat at mcdomalds is the breakfast after 10:30am go someplace else for burgers mcdonalds is miles ahead of the drive thru breakfast competition for burgers though, id rather do wendys get the sausage mcmuffin and put the hot hash brown onto the sandwich, that, and a cup of coffee is a dashboard eye opener
