Lori Correia, LMT

Lori is hands-​down the best massage therapist in north county! Her warm demeanor makes you feel comfortable right away and you just know you are in good hands.
She has an extensive knowledge of the human body and uses a variety of massage techniques that she tailors to each of her clients. Her hours are flexible and her space in Encinitas is great. I always feel so relaxed and centered after my sessions with her. Thank you for everything Lori!

I have been receiving massages from Lori about twice per month for the past year and a half and she is the best massage therapist I have ever seen. She literally saved my career. I am a surgeon and started developing debilitating neck pain to the point of scaling back my practice because of the pain. While she worked the years of built up tension out of my muscles, she also taught me stretches and relaxation techniques to maintain our progress between sessions. As a surgeon, I appreciate massage therapists who truly know their anatomy. Lori has an amazing understanding of the musculoskeletal system, and is able to isolate the any muscle she chooses to work on with ease and skill. In addition to having the highest regard for her professional skills, she is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I have met. I truly have been extremely satisfied with her work. Because of her, my neck pain has dramatically improved and I have been able to continue seeing patients and operating. The fact that I’m writing this review… and you can tell from my profile that I don’t do this that often… really means something.

So this is my third review… They seem to filter them out. This is a friend of mine, and if her massages sucked I wouldn’t even try to blow her up on Unilocal.But seriously, she’s strong as an ox and sweet as pie. Lori is a calm and beautiful woman. She did massage in Hawaii for 10… years. she is on top of her game. The office very clean, soothing and well run.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time. Honestly I’ve been putting it off because I’m not sure I can do Lori justice. When I met Lori (10 years ago? yikes!) I was a triathlete in Hawaii. I was having tension headaches that became debilitating. After 90 minutes with her I felt human again. I continued to see her once a week or so for a few years. I spent hours swimming, biking and running my muscles into knots and Lori fixed me up so I could keep on doing it. After I moved to SF, my first call every time I went home to visit was to Lori to set up an appointment. She even came to my home here in NorCal to work on me on her way through town. I was really (really, really) hoping she would choose NorCal when she decided to move to CA. My loss, your gain SoCal.
Best massage therapist ever.

I found Lori about a month ago and I am was so impressed. She really focuses her attention on the tension areas without
me having to explain where I’m sore. She uses her knowledge and experience to really work out all the knots with a great touch. Have her cup you (cupping) it will change your life! Love that she REALLY knows what’s she doing and helps me to learn the reasons behind my tension areas and what to do to help me overall. I won’t go to anyone else! She is AWESOME!

My husband and I have a condo on the Big Island and met her at our condo community. We have always enjoyed massages due to our aches and pains from golfing and swimming so we asked for some massages. We were amazed how we felt after Lori’s massages. Lori has an incredible amount of knowledge to know where to massage to relieve any tension/​pain. It was therapeutic and relaxing at the same time. I am amazed at how great I can move around and feel after getting a massage from her. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Lori for any type of massage. You will be amazed at how great you feel afterwards! Miss her and wish she was in Northern California!
