Had a great experience over the phone with a support issue doing an update on my ps4. He knew exactly what to do and also had a great an excellent experience with the staff when I bought my ps4. Thanks guys!!!

I dread going to Gamestop, but having a preteen boy I can’t really get around it. This location is ok, close to tons of shopping so a good stop that I can shop in the area and let him do his thing. Service is nice and both times we came here he got what he wanted. Easy, good selection, not too busy and plenty of parking.

Gamestop is a great option when my kids start asking for a new game. Their selection of used games as well as all of the latest titles makes them a great place to save and a sure thing. The staff here is friendly and parking is ample. Since it’s close to home, it’s my go to.

The employees here are really friendly and take the time to give their honest opinion on games and will help you find exactly what you’re looking for. My son loves coming in here as most 12 year old boys do, and he is treated with the same courteous customer service as any adult would be. He brought in a bunch of games he has beat or just didn’t like and received a fair price for them. 5 stars all the way!

Better game stop than most. Usually I am greeted by judgemental nerds glaring with annoyance at me with a glowing middle aged video game ignorance. The guys and gals here are polite, helpful, and honest. The umbrella corp… I mean«game stop corporation» still gives crappy money for used games, but thats life.

We used to come a lot when the kids were smaller, Now these kids are in college, so our game playing is really limited as is our knowledge of the same. However we needed gifts since the kids wanted a few portable Nintendo devices. If you ever have questions, ask for BRANDON! He is awesome. While handling other customers, he politely, clearly and professionally guided us through the pros and cons of different devices which made our buying experience very easy. He never seemed rushed and yet he handled the entire store. Fun store, and Brandon made us want to return to get something for us!

My biggest qualm with Gamestop is simply their pricing; they don’t pay enough for games and charge too much for used games. They’re not only competing with other physical retailers, but also with the likes of Amazon, and that’s just tough to do. I primarily swing by if I’m looking for an older game that isn’t going to have a drastic price difference from what I can find online. The staff are always very helpful, the hours are good, and there’s plenty of parking. I’ve never even browsed their membership offering to see what it is like since I simply don’t buy that many games over the course of a year. It’s certainly not a bad place to go, but if you don’t need the instant gratification of walking out with a game and going home to play it, online is typically your better bet. For both buying and selling.

Brandon and Mark are two of the finest gentleman ever to be employed by Gamestop. Everytime I go in they seem so eager to talk games and answer all my questions In a professional manner. They also do great on trying to up-sell any promotions or give-aways without being too pushy, like some other Gamestop employees.

6÷2÷14 — Once again, the employees here are super! They help us moms who don’t know much about our kid’s games(but pay for them!) understand what we should purchase and what would be appropriate for them. Thanks guys! This store in particular is above the rest! My first review: GameStop is notorious for having awesome sales people! Even since my two boys were very small they could go into any GameStop and be treated as a fellow gamer. Respect was there — these guys always talked to them like they were peers. My little guys loved it. I appreciate this non-favoritism and mutual respect. This GameStop in Encinitas is no different. Today there were three guys working and all were so congenial and friendly. They’re so ready to help you and willing to work with anyone of any age or sex. Thank you! I’m definitely a fan. You’ve made my life so much easier(I’m a mom who knows nothing re: gaming) especially when I needed to get my kids/husband certain games and accessories. Thank you again! I’ve never been made to feel stupid or unworthy. Love it !!!

I originally purchased a gaming headset in Mission Viejo and I also posted pictures of all the receipts. 1. Mission Viejo Store — Miss Selina is a great customer service rep, polite, knowledgeable and professional. She helped me purchase it on-line because it’s not in stock.(a blue Afterglow universal wireless headset) 2. Waited for 5 days and they sent me the wrong color(green) I called customer service 1−800−883−8895 and was put on hold for 30 minutes and I just gave up and hang up. So I drove to Oceanside and look for a replacement, no luck so I just returned it. BTW Michael and his associate are very helpful and friendly. 3. Called customer service again today 1−800−883−8895 and again I had to wait for another 25 minutes. Miss Stella of Dallas Texas sounds bored, sounds like she just woke up, no energy, rude, and I don’t think she cares about her job or her customers. One of the worse customer service rep ever! Selina and Michael, thank you for the great customer service, I give you guys 10 stars! Estella or Stella of Dallas Texas, please improve your customer service skills or find another job, thank you!

This store is the epitome of everything wrong with America. The corporate big-wigs have managed to turn the company into a money hungry animal that feeds off my money. First, they do not give you nearly enough money for trade-ins. I could have $ 100 worth of games and the best they will offer me is $ 10, or $ 12 store credit. Really? That is the best you they can do? Also, they try to up-sale me with shady sales tactics such as the foot-in-the door and door-in-the-face techniques. I honestly feel bad for the employees who work at the store, because they are forced to use these sales tactics in order to keep their minimum wage job. I really wish someone would step up to the plate and open an independent used and new game store. Maybe,

This place has great service and very good inventory; I really like this store. I don’t do the gaming thing very often, but this GameStop gets you into it. They have release events for new game and often give out pizza and snacks when they do. The ability to trade-in games also makes things convenient.

I like this store. All the people are knowledgable and friendly. They do try to up sell you, but that is their job. I can’t mark down for that. I’ll be a repeat customer for the foreseeable future. Mark is a good guy.

I am partial to this store because it used to be mine. I was a great manager, and had a great time working here while I was in college and had lots of repeat customers. Lets just say times have changed, and corporate marketing giants thinks its OK to bombard your customers with incessant up-sales for stupid magazines, game pre-orders(Don’t do it, if you forget to pick up your game, they keep your $ 5 and never bother to tell you) and disc warranty protection(not needed unless your 4 years old). It just gets to be harassment, seriously. You’ll wish you never game them your email too! The thing I like is the people working there usually really know their stuff because they are passionate about gaming. I usually only buy used, you can return within a week if its defective, and also if you just beat it and get tired of it. Then you can swap it out for another used game. Wait a couple weeks after a new release, and I bet ya you’ll find a used copy. $ 60 for a new game?! No thanks.

This store/company has to be one of the worst to deal with. The employees are not trained to deal with the public. Rather than assisting their customers they either hung out behind the counter chatting it up amongst themselves or scampered off to the back room. I did notice that once I left the store and ONLY after I left the store that the employee reemerged from the back room. To test my theory I went back into the store and off went the same employee. Their used games are a couple of dollars off compared to their new game counter parts. In general this company has under trained employees and will try and rob every possible cent they can from you. Also their power up reward system is bogus also do not enroll in it because they don’t keep your unused point balance after a couple of month.

Recently I decided to purchase a ps3. With My work schedule i don’t have the time to drive around San Diego to Follow-Up on Craigslist Ads. All said and done I walked out with a Ps3+4 games+ $ 50 gift card.. The Employee’s are knowledgable and honest. Thanks Louis & Game-Stop.
