Called Chris over at competition towing today(Aug 19th) and had a great experience. Chris was not only friendly and convenient but extremely helpful in advising me on good quality shops in the area. Also, after dropping me off to get a new tire Chris pointed out some local food shops! The guys just an around good person with fair pricing on a tow.

Chris picked up my BMW when one of the cylinder’s went out. He was immediately recommended by Hugo’s in Encinitas(one of the most respected and best European repair shops in San Diego) when I realized my BMW assist tow service was expired. He came within 30 minutes and gave me a *very* fair rate. BMW assist wanted over $ 200 for the tow!!! Um, no! He was in Oceanside within 30 minutes and took it directly to Hugo’s. Chris said to make sure in the future that if I ever get towed by someone else to be absolutely sure they use the tow connected found in the trunk so that they don’t ruin my car. It was very thoughtful and educative to say that to me because I wouldn’t have known that myself. You can trust your luxury vehicle with Chris. I will definitely recommend Chris and Competition Towing to anyone who finds themselves in a stressful automotive situation. Thanks, Chris!

Others are as low as $ 30 and $ 3 per mile. The cost to tow a car is ridiculous. Why should a 4 minute hook up cost $ 68? … and then $ 4 per mile. $ 68 plus $ 4 per mile… wow! That’s expensive.
