Best food in the area. Venice, despite its proximity to ample fresh seafood sources, has deplorable food options. Dad’s is the exception. This is the only place I eat down here… There are daily specials, fried seafood, poboys, steak, fried chicken etc. Most meals are around $ 10. Steaks are more like $ 25. The last daily special I got was fried fish, corb on cob, mac and cheese, roll and cake for $ 9.00. Everything was fantastic! One time I had cajun boiled red potatos with parsley, butter and garlic and they were so good. The burgers and onion rings are my favorite regular item. They do serve alcohol and are open till 9. Kitchen closes at 8:45.

I tried the Stuffed Hamburger Steak. It was absolutely wonderful. Stuffed with ham and bacon and covered with brown gravy. Very good!

Took a drive down to Venice to check things out. Drove passed this place headed down & stopped on the way back… it was the best decision made all day. Great food… Shrimp po’boy was excellent! Definitely worth the stop!

Dads is danktasticly delicious. We came here twice in three days because the first experience truly necessitated an encore! But we needed a day to digest all the food!!! Crawfish and softshell crab. Fried fish and friendly locals. We caught a bunch of redfish and the ladies here fried em up. Best meal ever!

Without a doubt a real find. Hand formed burgers, solid fried seafood(oysters and shrimp) straight from local dealer. Great service and plenty of locals. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and service.
