Service was very good, friendly staff. The food was tasty and at a reasonable price. We had the chicken parm and cheeseburger. The best is the onion rings… see ya next time when we are in the Ozarks.

Don’t expect much from Eminence. It’s unhealthy American food from maybe three little mom and pop diners. That being said, the waitresses at Ozark Orchard were very friendly, not just to us but to the other customers as well. They let us bring our dog on their porch while we ate, which we were grateful for since it was in the high 90s. They also gave us great advice about where to float to avoid the hoosier drunks that apparently flood the place from Illinois. And the food was good enough. I will go back to this place when I am down in Eminence.

They were either short-handed or they don’t care much about their guests. We each ordered a salad bar only after asking to make sure they’d be refilling the lettuce on the salad bar. Waited at least 20 minutes for someone to remember/bother to refill the salad! Ugg. Then, I made the mistake of ordering their soup in a sourdough bread bowl. Apparently the cook doesn’t get the concept and has never had an authentic soup-in-a-bread-bowl. The bready was not toasty or browned at all. It was the consistency of a dinner roll. Sourdough is supposed to have crust to it! I guess the cook didn’t know to get it crusty first before adding the soup. Disappointing.
