Whoa! What an awesome place! If you’re anywhere near the north entrance of Yellowstone or on your way to the entrance from Bozeman, do not miss this place! Rebecca is a young, energetic and talented baker!(Her husband, Taylor, does the BBQ next door.) The pastries were amazing. Breakfast was quite fresh as the eggs are local and so are the vegetables. Bread? Of course, she bakes them daily! The atmosphere is friendly. It is a local spot. Everyone is greeted like family. Did I forget to mention the cookies? The mini derby pies? Oh my gosh! Do not miss this gem of a place in a little town called Emigrant.

Yep, as good as it gets. Great sandwiches, rocking BBQ but only on a few nights a week and super cool owners. Getting more family run all the time, now a brother and a mother. They also sell their products at local grocery stores. Yep, the place is cute. Check their schedule every time. These owners also like to have fun. Hope to see them around for decades to come.

There were two options on the breakfast menu and both featured scrambled eggs, but I was warned not to order either one because there was at least a 20 minute wait. The people hanging out at the table inside the kitchen seemed to be eating quite well while they read papers and visited with the cook. There were two pastry options so my husband chose the coffee cake. It was tasteless. This is a place to avoid.

i like this place and the people behind it, i can feel the hard work and good intentions but yesterday bbq was exactly the kind i don’t like. over smoked and dry with poor flavor. a pice of cardboard from a burned down house would have tasted pretty much the same and the sugary sauce didn t help a bit. lightly smoked, moist, juicy and flavorful is what makes an elegant bbq, the meat have to shine not the smoke

This place is so cute! Everyone is super friendly and the breakfast specials(ciabatta sandwich with eggs and ham, and an omelette) were really tasty. The coffee was good and the cinnamon roll fantastic! The scenery and the setting couldn’t get any better. Definitely have to work this into every road trip we take! It looks like that have bands come and play in the evenings too, which is cute.

I’m a fan of this place solely as a result of their baked goods. The cinnamon rolls are LEGENDARY! Huge, massive, moist, cinnamon-y, deliciousness. Although the same can’t be said for everything as the hot chocolate was kind of watered down. The prices were reasonable, $ 14 for each plate of cinnamon roll french toast and scrambled eggs, and $ 3.75 for each homemade pastry(rolls, turnovers, and muffins). The customer service was very good. It’s not like some places in the middle of nowhere that serve up mediocrity because there aren’t many alternate choices, the food was quality but the drinks could use some improvement. I’d definitely come back again! NOTE: Cash or check only.

Wow. I’m so sad that we found this place the LASTDAY in Montana. Ugh! Darn not having data service out there to Unilocal this place!!! Greeted by a tall(and pretty) lady, she was sweet and helpful while taking our order and chatting it up. Their mocha was delicious(I was craaaaving some good espresso since I’ve been deprived of Starbucks and Coffee bean while touring Yellowstone). But the highlight: the BEST cinnamon roll I’ve ever had! This puts Cinnabon to shame as well as other cafes in Cali! I wish I could eat one of these RIGHTNOW! I will definitely be back(especially to try(voted) the best brisket in town) when I return to Yellowstone.

We have been traveling cross-country and this was such an amazing find. Everything was fresh and delicious!!! I had a slice of strawberry and peach oat bar and it was the best thing I have eaten in weeks. My sons had a gooey, chocolatey brownie and my husband enjoyed his chocolate croissant. It was so good we went back for lunch. My husband and I ate next door at Follow Yer’ Nose BBQ which is also to die for and the owner is super friendly. My sons had a pizza from the bakery, which was thin, crunchy and made with the finest ingredients. We are definitely visiting this bakery again while we are here. Go to Follow Yer’ Nose BBQ and get anything on the menu. The Loaded potato salad was the best potato salad I have ever had.

This weekend marks my first time in Emigrant and I was so excited to find such an adorable, small-town, and joyful bakery! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I was also part of a large group and the service was quick. The food was just as amazing as the location and staff! I ordered a very delicious cinnamon roll and finished it before I remembered to share(yes, it was so good that I forgot all my manners). I’m sad that I left the valley so soon after my first taste and now will have to make Wild Flour and detour every time I travel through Eastern Montana!!! As an added bonus, the adjoining BBQ place(Follow Yer Nose) is equally yummy and full of Southern charm and all around friendliness. I recommend both places whole heartedly and can’t wait for my next visit!

I think I was the first to rate this neat place in emigrant, MT… although I do not see my rating here any longer(??) We come here every visit, frequently, to the Yellowstone River’s Edge RV park, just up the road. Their pastries and breads are generally WONDERFUL. All natural organic unprocessed stuff, fresh made. We had two freshly made scones this AM that were still warm… really scrumptious. Great way to start the day. However, I would say their coffee drinks like lattes and mochas are too diluted(even though I had 16 oz double shots)…the coffee needs to be made stronger. And getting them is a bit slow as they seem to only be able to make one at a time. I was disappointed in the coffees this AM. Nothing else here has ever disappointed. They make good lunch sandwiches too. Very friendly staff. And can’t wait to go to lunch/early dinner later today at their BBQ spot attached next door. Have been their only once, as they are closed Sunday and Mondays(when we are often here), but I remember it being good. Nice views of course, of the Yellowstone river and surrounding fields and mountains. Outdoor seating is available/recommended. WARNING: They do NOT take credit cards.

The service I experienced in two visits weren’t great, but nice people at least. I went there to get coffee, but they do not accept cards. I had a cinnamon roll the first time there, it was delicious, but I hope to come back to have breakfast so I can really see if this place is worth the stop.

My family stopped in here after getting gas across the street. It’s a good, small place with good baked goods, food for breakfast and lunch, and coffee. The cinnamon rolls are huge, so we split one among four people for a snack. It was fresh out of the oven and perfect. We ordered three lattes and a chai tea. It took a little while to get them(because they have to be made one at a time). If you’re getting coffee, this will not be a quick stop. We ended up waiting a good long while for the chai while they served several people who ordered lattes after us. After the wait, the coffees and chai weren’t worth it. The chai in particular was pretty bland. I still recommend this place for pastries and baked goods, but skip the coffee. They’re expanding their hours to be 7:30−3 Monday — Saturday starting next week.

Discovered this wonderful place on my way to Yellowstone. Loved the Roast Beef sandwich but the apple/pear tart absolutely blew me away. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area.

There is freshly baked bread, and then there is Wild Flour freshly baked bread. What’s the difference? Well, when you get it from Wild Flour, you can eat it still warm while overlooking the Yellowstone River at a roadside picnic area outside of Gardiner( ). Or in sandwich form from the top of Bunsen Peak near Mammoth Hot Springs. The key here is location, preparation, and timeliness. This is artisan-quality, made-from-scratch, oven fresh multigrain bread for $ 4 a loaf that is within spitting distance of North Yellowstone. It’s not ACME Bread in Berkeley. It’s not Le Petit Outré in Missoula. It’s in Emigrant, Montana, and that makes it a destination bakery, the best in the area by a long shot. So give credit where credit is due. Sure, you could bring your own bread with you. But with Wild Flour Bakery so close to North Yellowstone, why would you? A knife and cutting board is all you need.

This review is for the bbq place next door owned by the same people. Follow Yer Nose BBQ is the best bbq we’ve ever had and we have ate in all the bbq restaurants in NY. Not to mention the Big Apple BBQ every year for all over the US. They have an awesome rub that needs no sauce although they offer 2 kinds of bbq sauce on the side. Tender smoked ribs to die for! Highly recommend for an mouth watering, fabulous experience!!!
