Check your receipt AND your bank account. I was overcharged $ 152 by the manager who took over the franchise in 2010. She did call and admit her error, however, it took over a week to receive the credit. If that wasn’t enough, I was overcharged for four items and double billed for the fifth. When I attempted to return the items I was treated with sarcasm and rudeness. My complaint to the Better Business Bureau was ignored. I Will NEVER return to this store!

The Beauty Source is a place where you go to get prettier. Period.
What more is there to say?
[Well, you know I am a ‘talker’ so I do have more to say. listen up]
They’ve got fabulous hair products, make up, hair do-​dads, nail products, waxing kits, skincare products and you can even get your hair styled & cut in the back and much much more!
I love that the owner doesn’t eyeball me as if I’m a hoodlum like they do at the cheapie place I used to frequent.
If you cannot manage to make yourself look prettier after some serious shopping at The Beauty Source, well then maybe you’re just not trying hard enough.
All I ever wanted was for my hair to gleam and now it does because I have found the source for beauty, and it’s here people. By all means, go. I hope you find your own source of beauty because I’ve been meaning to tell you that your hair looks kinda dry & well, that girliestache you’re rockin ain’t going to wax itself.

I was looking for a place to get my hair cut and possibly get some highlights as well that was close to work. I read some reviews here about this place being a «best kept secret» so I decided to check it out for myself.
Upon arrival I recognized the Beauty Source chain store and was a little worried about what this was all about. I then went into the back to meet Tracey. She is AWESOME. I have paid $$$ to try out fancy salons in the past and she performed incredibly! The price as right and the expertise could not be beat! Tracey is really cool as well. Friendly and talented now that is what I am talking about!

update — almost a year later. still great hair styling at a great price. the scheduling is a bit of an issue, but it’s worth it to always leave happy.

I’ve had one cut with her so far. That was over 8 weeks ago and I have liked my hair every day since. This has never ever happened before. Seriously.
This woman is amazing. It wasn’t like I had to say much, she just got it and gave me the best cut. I’m blown away. really, unintended pun.
Don’t mind waiting the extra time for her to return from so cal. In fact, I’d probably go down there for a cut (good excuse to visit LA) if she decided to stop coming back up, but hopefully it won’t come to that.
Only 4 stars ’cause I’ve only seen her once so not much to judge yet, and she doubled up appts, so I spent a fair amount of time waiting while she leapfrog worked on 2 other people. But she was sweet as pie the whole time working her butt off.

I went there for their bulk bottle sale and got very very nice shampoo for über cheap. They also have a good selection of skin care and hair products. I also spied some hard to find lines for men. Great store.
