A vast rental studio with all the amenities, right hear in the East Bay.
I just finished a Catalog shoot at the new Lola rental studio. They just finished the renovations to this new Emeryville studio. There is still some construction dust, but besides that it was a great place to work.
Katie made everything easy by having my equipment rentals from DTC ready and waiting for me. She even took it back the next day. How nice is that! She also sent us food recommendations prior to the shoot date so that lunch went smoothly, as well. Great help and service all around.
The studio is vast. I photographed in three different areas. There is a large white cyclorama cove, white brick if you wanted to do a room setup or have a whole other set. There is also the daylight room, lit by a wall of industrial windows. Katie uses this room as her office but did not mind our working there. In fact, we even appropriated her desk for several of our shots.
I look forward to my next shoot at LOLA studio!
