Franc is a crook. We paid over $ 3000.00 for a table with a matching console. He missed the delivery appointment numerous times, and was unresponsive to the messages that were left.
The table was finally delivered, but we never received the console table.
After table was finally delivered, we noticed the table was damaged, scratched and had a sticky foul smelling substance on it. The bottom was raw & unfinished, and the legs were not installed properly.
I have tried for over two months to get him to come out to remedy the situation. He makes an appointment but never shows up.
It is my understanding that his assistant who worked with me on the table is no longer with him. Apparently she could not deal with his dishonest business practices.
Beware you will get ripped off by Franc the rip off artist.

With exceptional work comes awful customer experience and delivery. I have been dealing with these guys for months now. They have never made a delivery on time, don’t show up for appointments along with no communication. I have had 5 – 7 different times and days now for delivery and they have cancelled every time. The table was delivered but the underside was not finished, it was left raw which is no bueno for little fingers. They willingly picked it back up to refinish (which is great) but with them no showing on 2 – 3 occasions. They did relay that it was ready that same week and would be delivering but now we are on week 3 of waiting on it.
It’s too bad that such great craftsmanship is shadowed by frustrating neglect on communication and delivery.

Franc and his staff are awesome! He built us a dining table and bench from reclaimed wood exactly to our specs. We initially had some reservations about the rustic-​ness of reclaimed wood, but he made sure the final product was polished and finished. Working with someone local and accessible was an added bonus for the whole project.
We’re planning to work with Franc for our future furniture needs and would highly recommend him if you’re considering commissioning a reclaimed wood project.

This business is the same as mod timber. Check out those reviews and you will see what I am talking about. Basically there are loads of people that this guy has stolen from. Don’t be another one!
My husband and I placed a $ 700 deposit for a bed frame 2 years ago. After endless phone calls, emails, and text messages Franc never made our bed and has not given our money back.
He will lie incessantly and tell you «next week» or «soon» things will come. He is a LIAR and will not do anything he says.

Bought a custom reclaimed wood table for my apartment and am extremely happy with the final product. The wood had a really cool story: Alaskan Wood benches from UCBerkeley! Plus, they’re extremely reasonably priced, especially given the quality of custom work done.
Pre-​sale process was great and they helped me settle on all the wood details, which was helpful for someone like me who knows nothing about wood. Delivery was a bit of an issue and it did come late (hence the 4 stars), but the owner ended up dropping it off himself on a Sunday morning!
All in all I would definitely come back to them for custom wood furniture :)

The table these guys built for our office is perfect. The staff were awesome and were in communication throughout the entire process, and — despite our table being custom-​designed and custom-​built — everything was completed and delivered on time. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would (and likely will) do business with again.
Plus, they’re a local business that uses high-​quality reclaimed wood. What’s not to love?

I ordered a reclaimed redwood desk for my office. It arrived before estimated delivery, and it’s awesome. The desk is solid. If my office gets hit by a tornado tomorrow, I won’t be surprised if the desk is the only thing left standing. I’ll definitely be coming back for future furniture needs.
