Eyebrow Plus

I never had a breakout from threading. Until now. It is clearly from going to this place 2 days ago. I’m breaking out in areas around my eyebrow that was touched, and so is my friend that came with me. Needless to say neither of us will be returning.

So, I’ve kept coming here since I’ve been back in the area. The woman is so nice, although she doesn’t talk much. She’s gotten much more light handed. I’m a big fan. Since her skills have improved, I’ve added my last star :)
As a Hispanic, I’m hairy, what can I say? So I visit as often as I can, ideally every week for a full face threading.
I have been a member for 4 years, and some places are hit and miss. I like how large this space is. She’s also begun playing some music softly. She is still the only employee there, but that means she’s getting lots of practice and will only get better!
I’ve personally never had to wait very long, that probably depends what times you come in. I can see how someone might have to wait a long time since there is only one person working.

The next morning I had more cuts all underneath the same eyebrow! Painful!

This is my go to eyebrow threading place. The membership is worth it and allows you to go as often as you need. So glad they opened a location here in Emeryville. Susma is the person who is there most days (if not all). She is friendly, professional and fast. Most importantly, she turns my eyebrows from the bushy mess that they are into a normal eyebrow. For that I am a regular.

The girl is amazing! Worked magic on my eyebrows. I am usually very careful about who I would trust with my eyebrows and I was always scared but I could trust her with them and she did an amazing job. I couldn’t be happier. My friend is a member of this store and I will get the membership also. She is my favorite now and I am not going anywhere else! I tipped her well and I hope everyone else does too! She’s the best!

I actually really like this place. They do a nice job with little direction. Didn’t hurt much, and not super expensive. I have gone back several times!

They are new and everything inside is nicely decorated. My eyebrows looked great when I left this place! I also found it affordable. Reading the comment below, I don’t remember paying $ 15 so I must have gotten the promotion and that is why I was so pleased!

I don’t like this place. Fraudulent business practices and poor customer service. There was a large clear sign above the front entrance that stated eyebrow threadings are $ 7. When it came time to pay, the lady insisted it was $ 15. I asked her about the large sign hanging on the awnings right above the front door, and she said it was a mistake that they «meant» to take the sign down because the promotion period ended. I asked her to honor her advertisement anyway since it was still advertising the $ 7 rate, she said no and insisted that I pay $ 15.
As for eyebrow shaping, I told her I like my eyebrows thicker because my face is round, she made it so thin I have a white patchy strip where my eyebrows used to be.
